Really good that the youth got a chance, hope it continues in the league.

Excuse the nitpicking, but it's nice to get the lads name right.
I agree BYram looks a good prospect

Ah, I didn't notice, I'll change it now!

I agree, he was superb and only 18. I was also hoping Dom Poleon would shine but didn't get very long... I'm sure his time will come. Overall a good account by everyone on the pitch and no injuries.

Sounds a real prospect! Although for solidity I prefer lee back in rb, we need a covering defender as we found lacking today, youth are good but against top opponents they will be a liability. It seems like a few of the young lads are taking their chance to push for a squad place! Along with Poleon and Thompson this season could see some starlets breakthrough!

As for Austin he showed why he is the real deal, he can pick a pass like Eddie said, and his discipline is excellent. The first half saw him being instrumental in the game, second half saw him sit back and play more reserved. Wolves will really test us and i think they may have too much for us at this moment in time but after a few more games or so I think this team will be a very good team!

Aye the team are looking better than alot of folk thought they would, and with the youth getting a look in that can be no bad thing
Lancs, you might be getting 2 books Mate, i'm hoping to get another, same subject

Mike, Wolves will be a bigger test, but if they played their first team today i think we'll be ok

We didn't look blatantly good because we weren't flashy which in the past we were which made us look good. We were a different kind of good today.

This sounds promising so fingers crossed the lad develops well over the coming season & is ultimately secured to a long term contract if he is the real deal.

Like a lot of other posters I really hope that Poleon forces the issue this season at some stage.
