If British media doesn't say so its not so! If the best player in copa america is not world class, who is? We are not talking about Africa or Asia..........and even in their continental championships they have world class players. The British media has selective memory ....................and same happens to many of its followers!
"I'd say when played in his correct position Suarez is certainly world class. There aren't too many better than him in that position. Cazorla is a very good player but there are many players in his position as good or better."
What is wrong with that statement? Inform me of your ever wise opinion.
Daredevil that fool is not a Liverpool fan, intact I wouldn't be surprised if it was you or another one of the idiots from your board.
It's an idiotic comment.
Suarez is a very good player. No denying that. But it's laughable to suggest he's world class. And even more hilarious to say there aren't many players better than him in his position.
If you're going to say Cazorla's not world class, Suarez certainly isn't.
Actually, if anything, I can't think of many players in the Prem in his position better than Cazorla.
Why is it laughable? We're talking about one of the best players in the league, a player who got best player in the Cops America. A player who defenders are terrified of when he plays in his favoured role as a wide forward. Cazorla is a good player but come on, he's not world class, there are many better players in his position.
There are countless players better than Suarez too.
There aren't many better than Cazorla in the Prem. Maybe just Silva. Even that's debatable.
So tell me all these players who are better that Suarez in the wide forward role.
If he's so good why was his assist and goalscoring record so mediocre last season?
Liverpool fans are quite happy to use trophies as a measurement of how good a club is, but faced with a simple measurement of how good a player is over a season they seem to ignore the facts.
Due to being played in Dalglish's Suarez lone striker nobody in the box system. He needs to play in his proper position as a wide forward and we need a player who can hold the ball in the striker role so as the wide forwards etc can get up in support.
If you have to resort to claiming that a striker can't perform well in a particular forward position, how can you claim he is any where near world class?
A world class player can adapt surely?

Stop making excuses for your fans. I've seen worse posts about Suarez from your bunch.
what next? Joe Cole is the new Messi
In the PL alone, Tevez, Aguero, RVP and Rooney are better than Suarez.
Suarez is on the same level as the likes of Dzeko, Adebayor, Balotelli, Jelavic, etc.
Cazorla, Podolski, Giroud are all unproven. It's funny how people have developed opinions on them when the likelihood is they haven't seen them play before.
You're listing strikers, Suarez isn't a striker.
What is he then? Because he has been playing as a striker ever since he joined Liverpool, for club AND country.
Suarez is naturally a wide forward.
the Robben role in a 4-2-3-1 or 4-3-3
He's a wide forward, which is why he isn't great playing as a striker, he does a job there but our team suffers when he plays there.
At the olympics he played wide left for country. At Ajax wide right.
In the first season under Kenny he was taking up wide positions regualrly. Over time he became the main centreforward. Personally I thought that was a mistake.

Suarez is my favourite black player.
Ronaldo, Robben, Villa, Pedro, Sanchez, Hazard, Kagawa - off the top of my head, all inside forwards that are better than Suarez.
