Nasri > Suarez

"Ronaldo, Robben, Villa, Pedro, Sanchez, Hazard, Kagawa - off the top of my head, all inside forwards that are better than Suarez."

Suares is better than Kagawa, Pedro, Villa and Sanchez.

You made the great point:

"Suarez is on the same level as the likes of Dzeko, Adebayor, Balotelli, Jelavic, etc."

then you follow it up with this:

"Cazorla, Podolski, Giroud are all unproven. It's funny how people have developed opinions on them when the likelihood is they haven't seen them play before."

Cazorla is world class, you moron.

Robben and Pedro are wingers. Kagawa is a central midfielder. Hazard is an attacking midfielder who plays well on the wing also. Ronaldo, Villa and Sanchez(who isn't better) are the only one's who have played regularly as a wide forward.

Pedro is the definition of a wide forward. You've never watched him play if you thik he's a winger.

I think what they're trying to say is Suarez has his own unique position that no-one else plays in and because no-one else plays that position he's world class

It's a silly argument though because world class players can play well in any position built around their core strengths. To make excuses just shows how far from world class he is.

I don't know much about Giroud but certainly Cazorla and Podolski are great players.

Is TOOR the most un-enlightened poster on this board?

Kagawa is a central midfielder?

Pedro is not a winger, he is a 'wing forward' like
Suarez.

Hazard has primarily been a winger until six months ago he was put in the AM role and he thrived.

Other wing forwards include Robinho, Messi, Neymar, Hulk and Podolski (who plays there for the national team). In addition to those that Batmanu mentioned, and all those are better than Suarez.

TOOR, do you ever watch football except your beloved Liverpool? I advise you do stat because you truly are clueless.

No Don, it's just your tiny brain doesn't want to understand. Wide forward is a real position, it really hasn't been made up. Suarez has played there most of his career. The likes of Messi, Ronaldo and Villa have all played regularly in that position. The term world class is subjective, as there is no classification for it. is it the top ten players in the position? Is it one? For me, it means that the player would play in any team in the world. I believe Suarez would start for any team in the world, I don't believe Cazorla would, which is what i base the term 'world class' on.

Kagawa has played central midfield most of his career, surely you should know that being a United fan?

Pedro is without a doubt a winger, just watch him.

Yes Hazard has been a winger and has played in an attacking midfield role but never has he been a wide forward, at least not in any games I've watched.

True Robinho, Messi, Neymar and Hulk are wide forwards and great one's. Podolski isn't anywhere near them in that role.

Yes, I watch football and from your silly comment, a lot more than you do...or at least i understand it more.

TOOR, don't embarrass yoursef even further.

Kagawa is an attacking midfielder who sometimes plays at the wing. He has rarely , if ever, played central midfield.

Oh, dear.

Barcelona dont play with "wingers". They play with three forwards.

Pedro is a goal scorer. Thats his role in the team.

He's no way a winger.

So why do the Barca fans sing this;

Pedro is a winger,
Pedro is a winger,
La laaa la la

Eh?

Oh, the position hasn't been made up, it's just the way you present it, you would think it's very far removed from the role that the players suggested to you perform, as well as the one that Suarez currently performs.

What you apparently can't seem to get your head around is that even players in that position should be able to finish to be classified as "world class". Funnily enough the other names that have been suggested to you are much better than Suarez at. Heck, even Lampard is better at it.

You seem to be suggesting a unique forward attacking position in which Suarez can be ineffectual at finishing off chances but still be "world class". I'm afraid that position only exists in your head.

As for the tiny brain, I'll just put down your personal insults to a failing argument. You don't seem to be getting much support around here.
