The only silver lining in each abject defeat is Conte is that much closer to the exit door.

What are you on about? Poch was far more successful with, overall, a smaller budget than Conte’s had. At some point you have to stop blaming the ownership and recognise that he’s not getting the best out of the squad he’s got. Poch lifted the performances of every player in that squad. It’s not just about recruitment. It’s more than that.

Conte has had 1 summer window after taking us from 9th to 4th - clearly showing he can improve the squad - otherwise how else do you explain last season?

The fact that Conte preferred Sess to Reggy is everything that’s wrong with his approach. You’d have thought that if you play with three centre backs and two holding, you wouldn’t need your wing backs to be brilliant defensively but clearly he didn’t think Reggy was doing enough at the back.

It’s just not football. It’s parking the bus and it’s just not working. Get rid.
