Van de Ven plays and we get 9 points from 15 at least. Sheet happens. We've been unlucky as well. Like their goal today where it ricochets off two CBs and falls perfect for Bowen. Villa were lucky too.

I don't think VDV would have a made a difference tbh. Lack of options up front have cost us. BJ, Son and Kulu all below par. Nothing off the bench to put pressure on them. Richy is Richy.

VDV plays and the errors at the back are less likely, and Maddison plays and we unlock West Ham's low block. The balance is out without those two.

The truth is, Ange is trying to play the right way with the wrong players. Kulu, Skipp, PEH, Davies, Richarlison are all crap.

Jury's out on Johnson. I didn't want us to sign him. I know Ange wanted him but I fear he's another that ends up in the deadwood category where we end up lumbered with him for years because no-one will give us the 40m we paid and Levy won't sell him for less.

Johnson had a very poor game today. He's been doing some good things and has contributed but the end product, whether producing the final ball or finishing for a goal, looks very hit and miss. He's early in his Spurs career and is young so might improve I guess.
The way it's going we'd be better off getting a proven goal scorer in to play up front and just moving Son out wide. Son was poor too tonight but you know he's a proven goalscorer and therefore better than the other wide options.
he gets in all the right places but can't do anything when he gets there.

He just needs to mix the style up a bit sometimes and have some new additions to the squad and we will be a force to be reckoned with. Ange needs at least two seasons and a couple of transfer windows to be judged. That’s only fair.

Yeah no confirmation anywhere so maybe a late fitness test. He’s got to give Veliz a start then if sonny is out. Only natural striker we got barring Scarlet or Parrot who are out on loan I think.
