Looks like Manchester City have switched their focus to Rayan Cherki and Rayan Ait-Nouri now that Reijnders is pretty much a done deal. Next week will be CRUCIAL.

Meh is just those are two players I desperately wanted

Tottenham will look for another winger this summer.

Spurs would prefer to bring back Mathys Tel but nowhere near the figures initially quoted.

Sensible. Tel has potential but we have too many other younger players who have potential as well.

Don't mind trusting Odobert. Should go all in for Eze to replace Son. Dibbling to provide competition for Johnson. Both HG too.

Yes Dibbling has potential too but he is HG and for me has a higher ceiling than Tel.

This Romero chat won’t go away, should demand Alvarez or £60 million plus Gallagher otherwise get lost.

agreed, certainly non that would be interested in Spurs

I like Frank and would like to see how he would do at our club, but am not desperate

I would have been happy with someone like Thomas Frank at the old WHL, or maybe after Jose instead of Nuno but now we need manager with winning know-how. We have to look on the top shelf.

He has been at Brentford for seven years. Too long. The pressure would way more than he has experienced there. . He has no champions league experience.

Abit like Curbs at Charlton, I feel like he would be a fish out of water at Spurs, were he to leave Brentford. I could be wrong though.

Id rather keep Ange than have Frank come in

I still want Iraola. He most resembles what Poch did before we got him and we should be aiming to reach those Poch levels again, while winning trophies. I can't for the life of me see Ange consistently getting top 4 AND progressing far in cups to win stuff, can anyone else?

Redknapp came pretty close. 2 top 4 finishes, a CL QF, 2 FA Cup semis and a League Cup final all in almost 4 seasons.

There are managers out there who I think could get this club back up to the top end of the table. If we don't think Ange is capable, we should move him on for the next guy to try.

Well yeah, same with Poch. The idea is to reach those levels again and this time win trophies with it. With the sort of backing that Ange has had the last 2 seasons maybe they would.

I still like the sound of Xavi as manager because he plays 4 3 3, loves the tika taka and is not afraid to play youngsters (if they are good enough).

He has played under top managers and he has won a title, even though he was limited to what he could do the transfer market. Sound familar.

But if Levy decides to keep Ange, let gets busy in the transfer market. I would give Ange the first 5-10 games of next season, to see if he has adapted and learned from all the losses from last season. If not bye bye.

And you would hope if he has someone else lined up, discussions have already taken place about targets and we can still make instant moves.

We cannot be faffing around.

We can only hope that behind the scenes we are making moves and doing things because on the face of it, it looks like we are lagging behind other clubs in terms of business over the summer.

Personally I still want us to move Ange on. But if that is the decision then we really need to be acting on it.

We can confirm the departures of Fraser Forster, Sergio Reguilon and Alfie Whiteman following the conclusion of their contracts, while Timo Werner departs following the conclusion of his loan spell.

So Ange has a 5th and semi final and trophy in 2 seasons. That Trumps any Spurs managers first 2 seasons.

Seems some are very happy to celebrate mediocrity with certain managers but not cut Ange the same slack
