I don’t put any blame on Reguilón for the first goal

Can still win this, as Leeds are hardly watertight themselves. But a bit of effort may be called for.

That's the only reason I think there is hope for us, in this game

They make silly mistakes leaving gaps in pockets...Must use pace of Lucas and then have Ndom supply the balls

It does not help that nearly every game Spurs get a goal ruled out through a ridiculously tight call.

That analysis really shows how exposed our right side is with Bale.

Lets hope Mason can work some magic this half.

Ndombele is brilliant against pressing teams like this

Agree, not many press resistant in the side and he is clearly one.

That footage of Bale not tracking back is disgraceful. He says he is all about the team blah blah blah but really he is all about himself.

Mason has to be brave and make an early sub.

Definitely can't play 4231 with him there against decent sides

Either need a third midfielder with the energy to get out wide often or back 5 where the outside CBs can get out to help the fullbacks

I think he's just realistic about now much running around he can do

I'd still feel reluctant to take him off though just cause you know he has that threat.

Its unfortunate but it happens to us so often that it could be argued that the players need to be more aware of it when making forward runs.

And he used to be a full back himself so should appreciate the problem of not helping out an FB!

Bale is a good player but my reservations about his intensity for the modern game is evident today and also others like the Arsenal game.
Not every game a gimme like Sheffield united.

Bale is a luxury player, no effort to get back ever. No wonder leeds are targeting the right side.

It’s our defence with that meat headed c*** Dier occupying it. Needs a complete revamp.
----------------------------------------------------------------------

I really don't rate him. It's getting to the stage I'm getting a bit of hatred for the bloke. Especially with his comments this week about how he feels he's had it rough with unjust criticism. He's been quite rightly slated because he's fcuckin pony and deserves absolutely no credit. He's accountable for both goals in my opinion. To scared to make a mistake for the first, lost his man for the second. Reggie needs to sort his life out cos he sure ain't got anyone else to help bail him out. Season on the line second half.

That's the cue for...........Sissoko

Beware of what you wish for!

Dier at fault for both goals in my opinion, rather have Sanchez starting, at least he has some pace about him and would of attempted to clear the ball

posted on 8/5/21

Ndombele has to come on. Probably for Bale as Dele is playing well.

Optimistically predicted a draw with two of their best players on the bench, expected a draw and hopefully can still get one, wouldn't be the worst result, just difficult to take as it's a must win for top 4 hopes. Issue is we facked that long ago with pathetic dropped points

posted on 8/5/21

Seems like each week everyone rates whichever out of Dier and Sanchez isn't playing

If the defense is left exposed time and time again then one like ours will eventually crack. We need to do more in midfield.
