Nice one Tez.

I think the player we have missed most is Lynch rather than Vaughan. Lynch bosses PC and forces the back line upfield and to keep shape whereas PC bosses gerrard and thus our backline is always too deep causing serious problems for the midfield and strikers.

Obviously Vaughan is a key player, but whether he could have done anything last night is maybe debatable. The Vaughan Novak pairing seemed to be working well, so while I don't think Novak is skillfull enough, I'd keep him in with Vaughan for now.

I'd like to see Scannell back and Ward on the bench. I am no big fan of ward..he can not defend, he can not tackle and his crosses are usually too deep / high., so I don't know what he brings to the team that Scannell doesn't have in more abundance.

All the last couple of results prove is that we don't have strength in depth.

Get Lynch and Vaughan back with Beckford as a sub and we will soon get back to our winning ways.

As for Ward, he would always appear in my starting eleven, since he can tackle, shoot, cross and he usually gets stuck-in, and more importantly, he can be a match winner.

As for the result against Brum - a 2-1 win for Town (although I'll feel gutted for Wor Lee ) simply because any team which suffers a 5-0 drubbing at home can't be much cop, can they?

In Wor Larry I now Trust.

I don't see us winning at Birmingham, after yesterday i just can't see it. 2.0 to lee clark am a thinking, we are fooked with out a striker, beckford wont do it for us novack, and lee are lg 1 players , town should have spent some of that 8m on a good striker, they should have bought that burnley lad when we had the chance they only wanted 4 m for him, hes got 10 goals already so he wont go for less than 8m now, if Rhodes is worth 8 he is as well now.

I'll feel better when I know who's playing & who is 'out'
till then...
It's going to be a tough away game if we start with the same 11 as last night.

beesknee,

0-5 in your last home game. - Give us a break, your lot couldn't beat a frigging egg.

PS: The Brighton win was a one off freak - out played for 90 mins and you stole all three frigging points.

The Brighton win was classic Lee Clark, play dire and somehow scrape avoid defeat - we managed to do it for 43 matches!

beesknee - have you noticed how much we all loved Lee Clark? You've got yourself a cracking manager there mate!

Morning chaps...

I'm no fan of LC but to be honest I don't give tuppence about him now. All I want is a Town win and all this talk of getting him the sack if we win is, frankly, beneath us.

Are we ending up like Blackburn fans ?

Come on lads, lets show a bit of class.
