Tez has the same problem with knees, but his hurt for gay reasons.
Loui I think your bus is on it's way mate.
Tez, shall I drive tomorrow??
Cheers cas, its not right this ,it always picks you up before me.
Inter if u want lol
Louis ur a looney.
What's the team news chaps....
Hammill ?
Vaughan ?
Lynch instead of Clarke? Gerrard?
I warned everyone on here that Vaughan was injury prone before we even signed him.
97 appearances (24 goals) in the past 7.5 years since he made his Everton debut, on 10/04/2005, says it all - dunt it?
Why can't some managers see this, before they sign some of these "injury prone sick notes"?
Btw. Based upon what I've seen of Vaughan so far, I rate him highly, but what use is he going to be if he spends half his time on the treatment table?
Sweet FA.
Mirf if hes not fit after the international break he goes same with hammill.
Let's hope Beckford is more match fit for this game!
vaughan = slight groin strain??
2 weeks plus and counting for a slight groin strain??
taxi for "vaughan".....
no matter how good he is for us, its no good having someone who cant/wont play... some are injury prone/some are prone to being injured...there is a difference.. cads springs to mind and there are loads of others who take too long to come back from minor stuff... wether its a physical or mental thing makes no difference they are not playing for you..
hamill may have been unlucky but again if he cant play he needs replacing, its a tough world out there...
Im not saying players should continue with injuries that may become serious etc, but its getting to be a running joke with some of them, broken bootlace, badly torn shirt etc etc etc...
TBH if vaughan only plays 20 games this season, it'll be likely 20 games where we have a chance to pick up enough points to stay in this league. Novak isn't up to it, Lee is a bit part player...Beckford ? not sure yet. Hammill...blooming injury prone...Scannell ? he's not a goal scorer....why are we in this position with £8m in the bank ?
I reckon Lynch will be in for Gerrard, PC was mom on tuesday (with 6/10).
As for midfield..Norwood, Southern, Clayton...Scannell (no Ward).
anyone got a link to TV2 Norway yet ?
8 million in the bank, can't spend a penny till January! That's why Jacko.
What's happened to the Football League preview show with George Gavin? Typical, we go up and they cancel it!
People are over-reacting with the Vaughan injury, he's been out for just over a week so far. When he's been out for months on end then you can start saying "I told you so". I said he'd be a top signing and I still think he will be - a couple of weeks out with a groin strain is no major issue if he comes back and plays for the next couple of months with no problems.
terrier..
playing for the next couple of months with no problems???
He has had all sorts/types of injuries...major and minor and they have all taken too long to come back from..
its in your head as well as the affected parts...
I dont say this lightly as he looks a player that could do well for us..
the anti novak brigade obviously didnt watch the game again the other night.. similar to the p clarke motm brigade because of two very, very late tackles he made(due to him being the only defender who was so deep)shaking heads between the two full backs, says it all for me......
We simply have 3 defenders trying to make decisions whilst having no idea what the 4th one is going to do..its very obvious and it needs sorting..
We'll lose 2.0 tomorrow, we won't score because we haven't got a good anouth striker, no goals from midfield either, shame hoyle didn't think it was worth spending some of that 8m that hes got in his pocket.
Cas ,
HE WAS out for months on end during his spells with Derby, Leicester, Everton and Norwich and the only time he managed to keep reasonably fit was during his spell with Palace (2010 - 11) when he made 30 appearances.
So as far as I'm concerned you can group him with the likes of Darren Anderton and Owen Hargreaves.
I hope I'm proved wrong, but I reckon we've been loaned a "pup"
Leeds fan in peace. For any fans living in the USA the game is on live tomorrow on Bein Sport.
Is there any pubs showing the town game?
The Post Office in Fax are showing it Loui, not heard of any in Huddersfield showing it.
Who's going tomorrow anyway? I'm on the 10.35 from Huddersfield and then the 11.24 from Wakefield to New Street.
Looking forward to it, been a while since I been St Andrews and we need to stop the rot of defeats.
2-0 to Town.
