why are you so obsessed with the champs? You NEVER talk about your own team. Very odd indeed. A severe case of wannabe-itis. WATP.

Fail Fail

i think Malmo will beat us Home and away for some reason

i genuinely expected Hearts to win yesterday even before the match started

we don't have any sort of rythm or pattern to our play

just go out and run about and hope for the best seems to be our plan

i expect Malmo to be bigger, stronger and fitter than us and they will also dominate the games with good posession

hopefully i am wrong and we win but i doubt it very much

how can these people can justify spending 1.5m on wallace to be a bench warrmer but not 800k for Kenny Miller ?

good question!

Rangers did not sign Wallace INSTEAD of Kenny Miller.

We will still have a striker budget. We just decided a 31 yr old Kenny Miller who we sold for 300k a few months ago wasnt worth 3x that now.

The Wallace and Miller situations are two entirely different things.

Rangers are now being run as a business. These were two different business decisions.

How can people not understand that?

Hahahaha I like the way every Gers fan (apart from polloks, who, although tongue in cheek, actually summed up Rangers quite well) tried to dodge the question. It's going to be a long hard season bears so dust off the "we deserve better" banners

petty the Dhim. One game and the "Hypothetical Bhoys" are extrapolating again...

Once again all talk. Just deliver bhoys. We have for 3 years in a row. We back up our talking off the park with championships and progress in Europe on ithe park. You have done zilch of note in 3 years and pumped oota Europe twice last season before it began. Will they never learn . Pity the dhim. Fail Fail

White wont sack McCoist unless things become desperate. He does not want to invest heavilyin the side especially pre the outcome ofthe tax case.
McCoist will not walk away and no other decent manager would take it on without assurance of funds to rebuld the squad.

toungue in cheeck?

no i meant everything i said

it's not looking go so far i'm affraid to say

dropping points to hearts is not the worst thing that could happen(think they will take more points from us both this year)but something just wasn't right with the whole situation

a few good signings and good results will see me happy though

but i'm just a daft fan

what do i know

lex keep yer predicitions. We know how accurate they have been before.

Concentrate on your own team. We are the team flying the flag for the European Coefficient. You have been an embarassment in Europe. Try and at least qualify eh ? The Gers could do with someone else assisting to ensure we get straight in the CL

A defeat to Malmo and the boo boys will likely have the 'WDB' banners up at the next home game.

No pressure, Ally.

Don't understand why managers sign players and then put them on the bench. Surely the quicker you get them in the team, the quicker they adapt and the quicker they contribute!!!!! What is the point of spending money on the substitutes bench?

Secondly, why does Ally/did Walter insist on playing Edu and McCulloch through the middle thus displacing Davis? He is the best centre mid of the lot? If I were Davis i'd be asking serious questions of the management. Edu is the worst player I have ever seen, why does he get selected ahead of Davis? Has he got the management under a spell?

Thirdly, Whittaker has given us all another demonstration on how not to defend, pass, shoot, cross, dribble and tackle. He is unbelievably average. Why is he getting paid so much? His defending at that corner was criminal.

Malmo game is as tough as it gets. They got a great result yesterday and I think they even rested a coupleofplayers.

Establishment...many points and I'll try to address them

1. The reason players are put on bench initally is you simply cant drop them striaght into a game without having had some time to get to kow teammates and understand systems and style of play. Would simply get caught out at the back for example. So give them 30 mins or so in 1st game etc..

2. You're spot on with McCulloch and Edu. Davis MUST be first pick throguh the middle. playing McCulloch in a holding role is simply a waste of a position. No need for 4-1-4-1 at home But I understand why he did it. Simply about playing a consistent system. But it shouldnt be about moving players from their best position to accomodate. Incidently Edu doesnt get selected ahead of Davis. The system yesterday in 1st half was simply wrong. Edu had a good game yesterday

3. Whittaker has been a consistently good performer for us. I certainly am not gonna get on the boys back on the 1st day of the season. He had a poor one yesterday. But that is simply match fitness and sharpness that will come after a few games. He cant be that average as he keeps Mark Wilson out the Scotland team

Whittaker didn't defend properly. Nothing to do with match fitness or sharpness.

He was getting roasted in the first half until that guy got subbed.

Edu was ok yesterday. I can't see what he contributes. I must be blind to something. He's probably the fittest player in the team but thats about it. No cutting edge, drive, imagination. Nothing.

I think we are often too generous in our assessment of our players.

Never been that keen on Whittaker.

woah Lex..you got a real case of hatred goin on son. Calm yer jets....

it wiz tongue in cheek cos we'e heard all the prediction nonsense before. And by the way, my comment wasnt to fellow Ger pollocks to to you and your prediction...

I'll wait for the result rather than listen to half baked predictions

Edu is a decent player lads.

Whats happened to Jamie Ness?

posted on 24/7/11

I think people are analysing too much after ONE game. It will take several games before teams hit their stride. Until that point its important to keep picking up points

posted on 24/7/11

Hearts had hit their stride and we should have as well.

It is more than a single game assessment, these are patterns we have been seeing for months and years.

Establishment. Dont get down after one game mate. The big Romanian Goian is in the bag. A couple more will arrive. We're in good shape.

Malmo are not doin very well at the moment. I really hope we dont go 4-1-4-1 against them and go 4-4-2 and give it a real go. If we do that we will be way too strong for them.
