Crystal Palace left struggling Bournemouth deep in Premier League relegation trouble with a comfortable victory at the Vitality Stadium.

In the first top flight game shown live on BBC TV since 1988, Roy Hodgson's side eased into the top 10 but left the mediocre Cherries in the relegation zone.

Palace took the lead when Luka Milivojevic curled in a 12th-minute free-kick before Jordan Ayew swept home a second after 23 minutes.

Palace saw out the victory in comfort as Bournemouth failed to mount any sort of serious pressure, to leave manager Eddie Howe and his side in serious trouble at the foot of the Premier League.

There could be a third Mamma Mia film, the hugely popular musical series' co-creator has said.

And the movie could feature new music from Abba, the Swedish pop group whose songs provide the soundtrack to the first two films.

Judy Craymer, who produced the stage musical and the two films that have been released so far, said "there's meant to be" a third film.

She told the Daily Mail: “I was meant to have been getting on with that, in my head, during these months. But then I got hit with Covid fog.

“I think one day there will be another film, because there’s meant to be a trilogy, you see. I know Universal would like me to do it.”

The first film, starring Meryl Streep, Amanda Seyfried, Pierce Brosnan and Colin Firth, came out in 2008 and was a box-office hit, grossing more than $600 million worldwide.

The sequel, Mamma Mia! Here We Go Again, hit cinemas with the same lineup of stars a decade later and raked in nearly $400 million.

And ABBA member Bjorn Ulvaeus has said he is "open" to the prospect of making a third film, if it were suggested.

Hearts have confirmed Robbie Neilson has left Dundee United to return as manager in place of Daniel Stendel.

Neilson, 40, has signed a three-year deal after compensation was agreed with the Tannadice oufit.

He said he was "absolutely delighted" and that you "don't turn down the chance" to return to a club of Hearts' stature.

Stendel's contract ended when the Tynecastle club were relegated but he had not officially left the role.

But he has now been replaced by former player and head coach Neilson, who led United to the Scottish Championship title last term, having done the same with Hearts in 2015.

A guitar played by Nirvana frontman Kurt Cobain in a rare acoustic concert has sold for a record $6m (£4.9m).

Cobain played the retro acoustic-electric 1959 Martin D-18E during a legendary MTV Unplugged performance in 1993, just five months before he died.

At $6.01m after fees, the guitar is the most expensive ever sold at auction, Julien's Auctions said.

Bidding in Los Angeles opened at $1m and was won by Rode Microphones founder Peter Freedman.

Nirvana's acoustic performance for the MTV Unplugged series on 18 November 1993 is now considered one of history's greatest live performances.

Midfielder Morgan Schneiderlin has joined French side Nice from Everton for an undisclosed fee.

Schneiderlin, 30, joined the Toffees from Manchester United in January 2017 for a fee rising to £24m.

The France international played 88 times for the Premier League club, scoring one goal.

Nice, managed by ex-Arsenal and France midfielder Patrick Vieira, finished fifth in Ligue 1, which ended early because of the coronavirus pandemic.

Everton thanked Schneiderlin and wished him "every success for the future".

"He had injuries but in the time he played, he played well. Everyone in the club is happy for what he did as a professional here and everyone wants to wish him the best," said manager Carlo Ancelotti.

"He had the desire to go back to France and we let him, he had the possibility to go there, so we wish him all the best for the future."
