Thought our resident ITK said at the time that we dodged a bullet because of his attitude (?)
I also remember at the same time (might have been the same man?) it was suggested he'd gone to Liege because the tribunal fee was something ridiculous like £5m+ which we obviously refused to pay, so he went abroad for a nominal fee (rules regarding tribunal fees for youth developments only applying within the same country). And that we'd get him back asap. If so, that's some serious wheeler dealin' going on somehow.

Fryers is a prospect, if he was so good he'd have made a few apps for us and dislodged the declining Evra from the side but he couldn't. Evra has improved this season compared to the last 2 years anyway, but good luck to him but can any of you lot see him dislodge BAE soon?
