He should be hung, drawn and quartered

Everyone should throw tomatoes at him and use his teeth as a can opener for baked beans

i think fans of other clubs could write lists about some of our own players. We have had players who have had done many silly things over time.

I think what doesn't help suarez case is that he never seems to learn from his own mistakes or seem to grow as a person from his mistakes.

It also doesn't help the he is portrayed as the one who is the innocent party by Liverpool fans.

I'm sorry but to blame Suarez for the handball incident yesterday is bang out of order.

The ball in collusion with the SAF led FA and the turf bounced irregularly and deliberately hit Suarez on the hand. He was so incensed by the activities of the ball that he kicked it away. Unfortunately it ended up in the net, which was also the fault of the net at the game.

Furthermore, Luis tried to bite off the part of his skin that the ball corrupted but unfortunately he wasn't able to.

It's quite clear that there is a conspiracy led by Evra, SAF and the FA to trick people into thinking that Suarez is a dirty player and this article is riddled with so many instances of these individuals trying to tarnish his good name.

I would therefore suggest you delete this garbage before our media team and US lawyers get their hands on it

I don't know about the punishment, but what a great merchandising idea for the LFC store: can / bottle openers modelled on Suarez's formidable teeth.

On the broader point, Suarez is clearly a shining example of the kind of footballer who doesn't care much for ethics or setting an example to kids. But let's not indulge in self-righteousness. We shouldn't flatter ourselves that every United player is a saint or demonise Suarez as a different species altogether. We've had players acting brutally (Keane), doing stupid things when red mist descended (Cantona), and of course diving or celebrating when the referee has missed something in our favour. I'm not sure we'd be so hung up about Suarez if he weren't such a good player and didn't play for Liverpool.

But there in lies the problem...our willingness to forgive or justify LS's actions.

You say oter than racism(sic)...i say, that alone should warrant his ejection from the premier league.

King Eric was also not single-handedly responsible for crushing the dreams of an entire continent by his antics in the world cup (and then bragged about it).

I deserve a trial at the Liverpool FC marketing department for this IMO

lets not take the moral high ground RC mate, i bet 99% of people on here would have done exactly the same as suarez in his situation.

as for the racism thing, i agree, and i wasnt trying to write it off, it was just something eric was obviously never involved in.

RR, i understand your sympathy/empathy. I try to be impartial but watching LS as he kicked the ball into the net, sporting a 'Joker' grin as he did so, there was a chill in me that suggests there is something 'uneasy' about Luis Suarez.

Also, i was one who lambasted Keane's actions on Alf-Hangeland and to this day, i think Roy Keane should serve jail time for his egregious assault on the lad.

Nor was Suarez. The dreams then fell to Gyan who missed the penalty.. didnt even get it on target.. I think.

Going out to end a fellow professionals career is far more unacceptable than any of Suarez actions.

This article has Roy Keanes face on it!

what keane did was aprehensible, however biting someone, racially abusing someone, spitting at someone and stamping on someone isnt exactly acceptable either.

I don't really want to look at things retrospectively - that is not the primary point of this piece - however, denying an obvious goal (and this was not an 'opportunity' as the ball was practically in) and supplanting it with a penalty (which has a lot to do with chance) is not condign!

Ipso facto, Suarez cost Ghana and essentially, Africa. Not Gyan.

During the 2010 World Cup quarter-finals, Suarez prevented Ghana's Dominic Adiyiah from scoring in the final minute with a deliberate handball on the line and was subsequently sent off. A penalty was awarded but missed by Asamoah Gyan and footage showed Suarez celebrating. Uruguay eventually went through to the last four on penalties.

--------------

Plenty of people condemn him for this, but I think most of us would have done the exact same thing.
