Sagna was 7m

Sagna has been of the best right backs consistently, but this season looks to be finished.

But 7m was a bargain.

Also take your pick with LFC signings.

Henderson - 20M
Carroll - 35M <<< that is such a joke
Downing - 20M

Robbie Keane to Liverpool was quite bad. Liverpool have had their fair share of bad signings.

I think Thaksin Shinawatra bought Jo, can't even blame Hughes for that one.

Francis 'jug eared fox in the box' Jeffers to Arsenal.

He can currently be seen flipping burgers with his ears in a van outside the DW stadium

we've got two Sheva and Torres. Also for Chelsea fans Robert Fleck was a big flop at a time when us spending 2 mill seemed massive.

Outside of Chelsea players. Robinho was dire at City, Huntelaar at Madrid and Carrol at Liverpool

JO for £19 Million he's not even worth 19p. were is he now?

Chelsea have a knack of buying really rubbish strikers; Shevchenko, Mutu, Kezman (even though he only cost about 6 million, he was still just awful) and then they go and blow £50 on Torres.
Hard to think of two worse signings that Carroll and Torres.

Disagree about Berbatov though. Maybe overpriced but that wasn't his fault. He was still a great player who scored a lot of goals for us.

Surprisingly we didn't lose money on Jeffers. We were abt £2m down on wages and fees.

He cost us £3m + Addons which was reported as £8m. As he never accumulated enough apps to get an addons. And we sold him for £3m to Charlton.

Arsene Wenger has never made a loss on a player. Which effin amazing after the load of dross we have had in recent years.

The first loss will be on Arshavin and with Arshavin's impact in his first season, we would have not qualified for the CL that year.

Amazing fact abt Wenger.

To be fair Adrian Mutu started well, but after the first four or five games it was all down hill. It may have been down to the drugs, but he was still a flop.
