Puyol:

Top-shouts Fair-play for going for Barnsley considering they're bottom of the league! My mate won £400 for a fiver with 7 'Both Teams To Score' yesterday Lucky bassa. Was waiting on Utd-Fulham then Aaron Hughes got that late consolation to seal it. Think I'll try BTTS next week.

Yep dont think the armed forces would be swayed by a few complaints. They feel it was inappropriate, please try to be respectful next year guys. Thanks

with or without the complaint the heads of the armed forces deemed it inappropriate
"

Nonsense. If there was no complaint there would be no looking at it. Sad sad people want to get a life

Chuman - same as you bhoys Wong take tax advice from us bears, I don't want a celtic fans lecture on being respectful to the war dead

posted on 27/1/13

So the heads of the armed forces have had their opinion changed by a few complaints?

Dont thinks so. They feel it was inappropriate just accept it and please try to be more respectful next year

The minutes silence was impeccably respected this as it should be every year. Nobody from the armed forces have called it inappropriate thats for sure

posted on 27/1/13

Ad I say, take your lecturing elsewhere bhoyo

They also never said it was "disrespectful" so why you keep saying that is anyone's guess

at CP I should have added.

posted on 27/1/13

well if it was inappropriate some might have seen it as disrespectful as well.

Evey year chuman
Aye ok.

You also had the small matter if the bloostained poppy debacle. Shamed celtic to all decent folk in the uk. As u say, I won't take respecting the dead lectures off a tic fan. That's like taking parent advice off of Fred west ffs

posted on 27/1/13

And the bloostained poppy debacle WAS at celtic park. That was truly shameful but let's not talk about that eh!!

posted on 27/1/13

you obviously didnt read my post I said as it 'should' be every year. I concede where some of our support have gone wrong. However this time it is your own club that have totally misunderstood the meaning of remembrance day. Enough so that the heads of the armed forces have slammed you for it.

Try again next year lads, just keep it appropriate.

All the more reason you shouldn't be lecturing us then if as you admit it's not impeccably observed at celtic park every year. Get your own house in order first. I'd rather an inappropriate over the top celevbratiln over a shameful banner display any day of the week .

Seems like the quintessential club have misread the feelings of the armed forces it so loves to laud. Maybe they're not that quintessential after all

To be honest, I find the parade at Ibrox a bit OOT, but I dont get the logic offered by the Major.

"But following complaints, Major General Nick Eeles, General Officer Commanding Scotland, met Navy and RAF chiefs and they agreed to ban a repeat.

Instead, he has said just a minute’s silence would be a more appropriate way to mark the contribution of those who served in the two world wars and other conflicts."

Does that mean that the Remembrance Day Parade is being replaced this year with only a minutes silence in its place?

Exactly mitre.

Chuman - as I say, I would rather be told to tone it down than have some if the nationwide embaressment that celtic fans bring on thier club at that time if year
So spare us the faux indignation

Cannons and abseiling who the fook thought that was a good idea

posted on 27/1/13

Your club has fooked it up. They refused to put a poppy on the shirt.

posted on 27/1/13

Fans are part of the club btw. Without fans clubs would be nothing

posted on 27/1/13

Fans don't run the club on a day to day basis. whoever organised your remembrance day farce obviously do.

posted on 27/1/13

No but they are part of the club. Thier behaviour reflects on the club. Your fans behaviour at this time of year is shameful most years recently.
