We'll have to rely on Arsenal to stop Spurs getting in the Champions league this year. It's a long shot

6th best in England but best in Europe. I'd take that.

Two best teams in PL getting owned in Europa whos going to take that????

Didn't Barca lose to the 6th best team in England? Didn't the 6th best team only have 10 men at one point?

two teams who were fighting for the title not bothering with competitions that would create fixture pile ups, not that surprising.

Any other points you want to copy and paste the same answer to?

Pep is still having nightmares and fantasies about the pl

Pep,s snub of PL is another nail in the coffin btw

Or you could say he took the safe option....

Who offered him a job to snub?

Mufc and mcfc dont care about europe if the pls 6th best team can win it, its just proof the pl is more prestigious, harder, and better to win. So you have the pl > cl > bundesliga > barcaliga. As all managers will tell you (they all want to manage in the pl after al, and they generally know more about football than anyone elsel), FACT!

Apparently Roman offered him 15m euros per annum. according to various credible sources. Graham Hunter actulally said that Roman's Helicopter was ready to fly him to his Yacht for negotiations but Pep refused.

Based solely on this year's results, the PL currently lies 3rd in the European rankings, with La Liga 1st.

On coefficients, La Liga's got 3 teams in the top 5 and all 4 of its CL entrants in the top 10. England's best ranked team is 11th.

The 5-year rolling rankings are headed by a Liga club and features 4 Liga clubs in the top 10 to the PL's 3.

As you might expect, La Liga also leads the 5 year country ranking.

Tennis? Don't get me started. We'd have to roll back the rankings 100 years to find a worth English champ.

I swear i heard Sir Alex say'' i have always been fascinated by Europe'' or smthing not far off it.

Did you see mancini's celebrations when Aguero scored a goal in the injury time against villareal to keep Man city's hopes alive?

Roman's a nutcase though. He was probably smoking crack at the time he made that offer. Pep wouldnt have come to Chelsea anyway. Might rule him out of the Utd job in the future

Still wouldn't want him at United. Who needs a break because they're winning too often?

The classicos are fantastic games of peerless quality. They were at their most theatrical, cynical and bitter 2 seasons ago but over the past year and half, they've almost always been fantastic games.

Funny enough, I expect Madrid to win. That Barca defence just can't seem to hold out against the slightest pressure and Ronaldo is tailor-made to prey on their uncertainties.

Anyone that denies the El Classico is the best club game in the world is either obssessed with the Premier League or they don't appreciate the beautiful game

Okay yes, there's a lot of diving in these games which does ruin the spectacle to a degree but in terms of passion, commitment, beautiful football and most of all, the individual talent, El Classico stands head and shoulders above any other game.

This is a game that boasts arguably 15 of the world's top 25 players for christsakes and both teams play beautiful yet very different styles of football
