"What is? Quite right that they have too little going on in their lives?"

Yes.

It's the same ones that were planning a picket line.

In all seriousness I'm just old enough to remember the Timex dispute in Dundee and the effect that had on the communities here. Those were real scabs and they never got to forget it. Most of them had to end up moving away from the area because people would shout and spit on them in the street for crossing that picket line. It was a big issue up here. Folk were going to soup kitchens just to eat.

Somebody going to a football game doesn't really compare.

"Bluenose ya heartless bassa"

No.

Heartless would be having Broxi take their season tickets and cut it up in front of them. Then taking a big massive dump on said cut up season ticket.

Bluenose - the police took that very seriously and put up barriers around Tannadice to prevent anything like that happening. We were very restricted in where we could enter the stadium from and the Rangers end was pretty much cut off from everywhere else. A picket lind would have been impossible if it had been tried.

I know. I'm in agreement that some were taking it way out of line.

Do I agree with it? No. Do I understand why the Club took this viewpoint? To an extent, yes.

Do I agree with the threat of physical violence towards fellow Rangers fans in Dundee? No.

As it should have been.

Anything to cause as little trouble as possible. I do think it could have kicked off.

"Great shout BluenoseBroxi could kneal behind them in the centre circle and mock pump them while the stadium announcer shouts out scabby bastirts. We could call it The hung Ger games"

Agree with all of this.

Would make for a far greater half time spectacle, than some fat bastirt trying to hit the crossbar.

Zachsda - if you want a real HunGer Games then make them all fight it out to the death at Ibrox with the last one standing is then allowed to get a season book for the next season

couldn't believe he didn't try and even hide his bias. Thought he would have said "I'm a tic fan , but my pieces are fair and professional"

Nope, not fat Andy

Spot on Zach, that's why I mentioned it on this thread cos the united fans were quoting the clown as a credible source. Same as the bhoys used to quote Phil mcgkksthbcgjnxhoan as credible.

As for the whole scab thing, few Internet hardmen , nothing more. All teams have them

I'm not really quoting it as a credible source. I just linked an article from a site that I don't normally read but thought it was interesting and relevant to this thread.

I would rarely quote a blog as a credible source because most are biased in some way or another.

For what it's worth there's also a decent piece in the Herald today from Graham Spiers about his experiences on Saturday as going to the game as a paying Rangers supporter. Not got the link handy though.
