I don't think so. Wages will be in issue, surely?
-----Cesar----
Jenks--Mert--Kos--Monreal
------Alonso---Wilshere----
Isco----Jovetic----Santi
--------Villa------
Arsenal septuple winners 2013/14
If Alonso was bought he'd be bought as the DM we've been crying out for which would be a mistake, unless he was coming to replace Arteta in the line-up I don't think it should be such a priority
Replace Mertesacker with MiGuel
Dot
I would stick my cóck in a blender for that to happen
if mourinho goes back to chelsea i can see him buying Alonso
Iqnasi Miguel.
Hmmmm we have the team sheets here and it clearly says 'Miquel'.....NAH FÚCK IT WE'RE RIGHT IT'S MIGUEL.
Penguin - Please don't feel obligated to do so if it does indeed come to fruition.
Say yes to David Villa when we have a fee under 10M.
Alonso's coming home, Got_better said so
But realistically I think he may come back to Anfield but he's still good enough to play in any PL midfield, he's a world class player in the proper sense of the word, not the Gooner one.

Alonso would be perfect for Arsenal. It'll come some way to reduce Cesc's loss.
Why on earth would Xabi Alonso go back to Liverpool, couldn't wait to get out
Terrific article, hopefully he'll replace Arteta next season
Our new DM wont be alonso. But will be a spaniard. Ignaci Camacho
Batmoanu, do you want a fat Spanish waiter to join your inquistion too
Replace Arteta in the first XI. Arteta can cover for Cazorla in AM.
Camacho is awful, can't even get in Malaga's team!
Rafa can be our lasagna chep.
Gerrard's world class, has been for years, I doubt you could find any Liverpool fan who would say Henderson is, he's playing well though so happy with his development
Why would Alonso come back? No CL is certainly a factor as he's good enough to play in any midfield, however he's publicly procliamed he still loves the club and enjoyed the time he spent at Anfiled. Now I don't think that's enough to convince him to come back but with a good wage and`a guaranteed place in the side it may help sway him.
You can try put Liverpool down all you like but we pay bigger wages then Arsenal at the moment, he's an afinnity with the club and knows how much the fans love ann appriciate him, also you can't use "Rafa sold him" as Rafa's not the manager anymore.
He's more of a chance of returning to Anfiled then going to Arsenal as you propbably won't pay the wages and also there's a good chance you won't be in CL next season, tell me what would attract Alonso to Arsenal over Liverpool if you don;t get into the CL?
you think you could find room for Torres too

I watch him everyweek Peter he's still world class, your opinion doesn't matter I'll take the opinions of footballers, managers and pundits I respect. Arteta was never on his level although Arteta's a decent enough player.
Gerrard would walk into the Arsenal midfield next to Jack W
The last time I watched Gerrard he was in Schneiderlins back pocket.
