White eh?...we just need a white ball and a foggy day then,
Sorted!
El Clásico hey?
On a serious note, G'Luck tomorrow Peeps! See, i'm not all bad...just thought i'd mark some banter on here to relieve the tension
By the way, make sure the kit is sorted out before leaving LONDON Rd... http://metro.co.uk/2013/04/06/barnsley-forced-to-wear-crystal-palaces-away-kit-to-avoid-colour-clash-3585750/
Thanks for the tip, Paul, but we're not Barnsley
Off to Selhurst Park
Stay UTP
Good luck Peterborough. Let's relegate Millwall!
I hope we don't play you next season (because we've been promoted) but will have to wait and see
Just a point will put a smile on all Baggies faces...
Unlucky guys
You had a damn good go
Just about to watch Palace come out for the appreciation lap now at a very full Selhurst
Ciao
Bug Argh !
Tough luck Thorny, Hauntyou..
Sad to see you go darn like that.
last 4 king minute ..
Good luck next season. I for one will miss the banter,
Hope you bounce back.
1 more game & the Millies were gone...FFS.
Great effort I'll give you that
Respect to the dozen or so Posh fans that stayed behind to clap the Palace team on their lap around the ground. Top football people
would have preffered millwall to go but given our recent history you were my next favourites..
at least you went down fighting, Barnsley really put it in today...sorry about the 4 minutes of injury time the Barnsley bench found out you were losing and so their keeper just walked it up and down in their box, whilst the players all danced and some sat down..
fairly comical ending to a poor season for us..
Im in shock thought the posh had done it and thought going into last 10 minutes we would at least get the draw we needed. Peterborough probably the best side to ever go down from the championship. So hard to take as there 2 or 3 teams much worse then us that stayed up.
Thorney, no you're not Barnsley, nothing else to say is there.
AND ITS HI HO SUPER BARNSLEY
so annoyed peterborough were better then crystal palace for most of the game. That penalty at half time was massive imo. If we saw that out then we would have had a lead to take to 2nd half which would have meant palace panicking more leaving more gaps.
A dejected Peterborough boss Darren Ferguson: "To be so close to what we had set out to do and have it taken away from us in the last few seconds is the worst way it could have happened. We are all shattered.
"I had so much belief and confidence we would stay up. The only time I have thought we were down all season is now, when reality has sunk in that we are down. No words I can say now will make a difference.
"I really don't think we could have done any more with that group of players. It's just a bizarre season where 54 points sees us relegated. It's never happened before."
I'm sure daddy will lend him another half dozen players next seaon.
ThorneyPosh: Hard luck. I guess your dream of Champions League football and undersoil heating will have to wait a season longer.

Hope this is of some use. I've added a wee detour into Wetherby for fish and chips at the Wetherby Whaler. Quality grub. Sithi.

Oh Hafi. No wonder everyone thinks you're a
Peebro were better than 5/6 teams yet still went down? Is that not what a league is for, to decide who 'is' and who 'isn't'?!
You are a such a c-ckend and finding out you like the posh just makes this day even sweeter
Since the turn of the year there's been 15 worse teams than Peterborough and 17 worse than Barnsley, but the season starts in August.
46 games..if you end up going down you were one of the worst 3 teams in the league..
been a poor league which is why the points spread over most of it is so tight.. not because all the teams were so well "matched"...
46 games, you deserve what you end up with..simple..
the amount of points chucked away by rank bad play(from us and everyone else) that I have witnessed this season is ridiculous..
seen hull, Cardiff a number of times in the flesh and on tv, they wont over do the points marker next season.. now we have to put up with qpr and reading spending all their "parachute payments" in the summer whilst not paying a penny off their silly debts...
wigan will be a force simply because they don't have huge, stupid debts and will easily afford the best players/wages..
well done palace!!
nice to shut that cernt durham up at last!!
he,s dissed our two clubs all season and this relegations for him!
4q durham
4q you cernt
an am feelin glad allover
Yes iiiiiiiiiiiiiim BOOM BOOM glad all over
Not long back from the match and a few drinks with
the Crystal Palace fans in the Cherry Tree pub (scarf hidden from the bouncers at the door).
We were six minutes away from staying up - how close is that after a whole season of play!
The players did us proud, and Ian Holloway admitted that the 'foul' that led to the third goal wasn't one.
At the end of the day, I'm not too gutted to lose out to Barnsley, who have been battling themselves to stay up. We were better than several teams above us, though, and would have survived if we had landed just one of the twenty-one points we failed to secure in our first seven games. Still, that's football, and I enjoyed the day, if not the result.
Back on the Championship thread in 2014/2015? Who knows. With Fergie Jnr at the helm, we just might make it straight back up.
Bye for now, and UTP!
