Torres is at Rocky III stage.
Jose is his Apollo Creed
Superb, Jose will not tolerate Torres's.. how shall I put it.. crapness? in front of goal. He will want a goalscorer.

I knew I could count on you.
Torres is at Rocky III stage.
Jose is his Apollo Creed

Does that mean that Jose is soon going to get beaten to death by a Russian ??
I was rummaging around looking for quotes on Drogba and came across this.....first time I have seen it from Drogba's autobuio...
"I learned that the manager was going when he told me personally — before the club made it official.
It was a shock because I literally did not believe it could happen to a guy like him.
When Mourinho went to say goodbye for the last time in the dressing room it only lasted five minutes but it was an immensely strong moment and very moving.
To watch him empty his locker so quickly and with such little fuss was terrible.
Some around me were crying. It’s a shame if you are sensitive. He kissed us, one by one — except a few!
Then he said ‘I wish you good luck to you and to your families and I thank you all. Even those who betrayed me’.
Mourinho didn’t stay a second longer after that because I think he would have burst into tears.
Then it was like fireworks in the dressing room.
I really feared that everything was going to explode.
Finally a sense of resignation sunk over us and my initial feeling, just like a lot of players I think, was to feel alone.
It was almost like being an orphan after the departure of a father.
Over the following days I struggled to look at some people without getting angry.
Things went too far. In training, during those days, you could see some players were making basic errors, forgetting the basics of football.
Thankfully that effect didn’t last too long.
My opinion is that results were only an excuse for getting rid of him. Perhaps his honesty and his way of saying what he thinks were not appreciated by everyone at the club.
Mourinho explained to me what had happened in the few weeks prior to his departure and I understood why he went.
I prefer not to share that, I just want to say that I have been really badly surprised by some people.
I understand now what Mourinho meant when he told me ‘Know that I am happy to leave this place’."
I think i saw an interview where Jose was saying how many points Drogba is worth to a PL campaign, if that is how Jose thinks, then how the feck is he going to want Torres?

This is kind of how I see it as well. Jose is very methodical and almost robotic in his thinking.
There is every chance that Jose will have come to the conclusion that Torres simply doesn´t have it in him to deliver the goals he will need to win the PL title.
If we say that winning the PL will be our number 1 target next season then Jose will need a striker who can score lots of goals in the PL.
Is Torres that man ? I can see Jose concluding that he isn´t.
Who were the ones that in his eyes at least betrayed Jose?
Maka? Eidur?...........
To be honest, I'm sick of seeing Torres at Chelsea. He's been a disaster and thats putting it lightly. 1 goal every 3 games is not good enough.
Weren't there rumours that JT had fallen out with Jose?
Would explain why Nigel Spackman was saying the other day that he had heard from an insider that JT was on the way out.

Interesting quote. So Jose was sold down the river by one or two players in the Chelsea camp ?
Who is he referring to when he said "even those who betrayed me" ?
But Terry says he is always in contact with Jose by text message, so that makes it unlikely he was one that turned on him...
Its gotta be someone who holds some authority in the dressing room though.
Weren't there rumours that JT had fallen out with Jose?
-----------------------------------------------------------------
Yes I remember that as well although never knew how much truth there was in it.
If Terry was one of the betrayers then you would have imagined he´ll be sold - unless Jose and JT have patched things up in recent years.
To be honest though I can´t imagine JT was one of the so-called betrayers, him and Jose always seemed very close.

Always thought that to.
There's always Shevchenko
Sheva was always treated like a spy by Jose
Makelele for sure
Avram was also involved big time
Eidur had left the club but had become disillusioned with the style of play, so maybe he had said something
I can't think of any others to be honest, Sheva probably
Sheva and Grant had Roman's ear, maybe even Ballack was not a fan either, the problems started when those two arrived..
Grant was definitely involved.
Kenyon was a Jose fan according to the media, apparently the reason he left the club shortly afterwards was because he had made a solitary stand for Jose...
Avram was also involved big time
-----------------------------------------------
for sure
So apparently is Bobby Campbell
We need more leaks from within the club. Where's Malouda?
