I understand the world we live in, not the bubble you clearly are in. No one gives a damn anymore. No one really did before. We happened to be the highest payers before and players came to us. For a while it was the italians and they got all the players. Now people go to freaking city instead of us. The amount of people to come to united because of our history in the last 20 years can be counted on one hand. Do not delude yourself. Dunc in all honesty he does have a point. I dont think players give a toss about history these days, there are few that do. Money is a huge factor just look at Rooney as an example, if we offered him less money he would move to the highest paying employer and he's been here nearly 10 years.

Lol... The upgrade from 80,000 too 200,000 was such a step back. Only made him THE HIGHEST PAID PLAYER AT THE CLUB. I guess thats what it takes for RVP to show just how much he loves us and our history, by only asking for more than triple his old wages.... so much love.

Fellaini would be a massive improvement on Cleverley and Anderson.
Though I see the points about being less mobile as Carrick and Fellaini would be real slow and static
