Martinez has done his job at wigan, time for him to prove himself at a higher standard club with more money and better players. I think he is a talented manager and he will be a success at everton.

In he past, he has turned down Liverpool and Villa, just to name a few.
The Everton job is too good to be turned down though. As Whelan said, Everton still like a family run club, just like Wigan but bigger with more fund. Not too many of them in the PL and I'm sure the Chairman understand that.

Martinez is the biggest Wigan legend. He's loyal now time to move.
To be fair, he has had opportunities to leave earlier, he didn't and it has paid off. For a club like Wigan, and FA Cup is absolutely massive, best time for him to go imo.
