My Little Pony: Friendship Is Magic
Really underrated game you wont regret buying it
The bioshock series if you like good storylines can't be missed
Already got it Ron
Isn't Bioshock a FPS? Don't like those
Try Penumbra or Amnesia if you like survival horror games
If you don't like futuristic or FPS games, then all you've probably got is FIFA
If anyone wants a proper game they need to get themselves Borderlands 2, it's everything you look for rolled up into one. Playing with your mates, blowing stuff up, a smug bad guy you want to shoot in the face, humour, the addictiveness of levelling your character, and loot, so so much loot..
Although Skyrim isn't futuristic or an FPS..

Borderlands 1&2 are great. There's also Heavy Rain, God of War and others I can't think of. Bioshock is the best game I've ever played.
Play all the Hitman games
Hitman/Assassin Creed games are fun.
Get Ni No Kuni, well worth it.
Play Football Manager and watch your summer disappear in the blink of an eye

IGN gives 9/10+ for pretty much everything.
To the OP, if you're into RPG games I would recommend Skyrim and Kingdoms of Amalur: Reckoning, both will get you over 100 hours, the latter is quite cartoony though.
Also Assassin's Creed is good if you like your story, only problem is there is so many of them now. The general fans favourite of the series seems to be AC2.
If you really want to go back to the old days, you could get Metal Gear Solid 1/2/3 (PS1/PS2). Brilliant story in the series, and all great games, they can be bought on PSN, so I assume they're on steam too and whatever the xbox equivalent is. Also a 4th on current gen.
And as said already, Borderlands 2, although it is a FPS, don't mistake it for something like CoD or Halo. It's nothing like them, it's non stop chaos, the characters are all freaks, and it has tons of RPG aspects, like skill trees etc - and you can play the entire game online with mates.
Red Dead Redemption is worth getting too.
Hope this helps.

Yeah AC2 and AC Brotherhood are the best by far, but if you like the whole storyline thing and have some patience it's best to do it from the start as it all sort of ties in, although it's not 100% necessary.
Cheers for all the suggestions guys
I've played Assassins Creed 1 + 2, personally thought 1 was crap, but I've loved AC2 so far.
The problem is, I've played it to the halfway point twice, but I've had to stop playing because of things distracting me. When I get back to it I've forgotten how to play
God of War, Heavy Rain, Hitman all look like really good games, I'll look into getting those. Bioshock, despite being FPS, does look interesting, might get that too.
Is Sleeping dogs any good? Most of my mates say it's passable.
Sleeping Dogs is deffo worth getting, think GTA Hong Kong
you played any Metal Gear Solid?
Loads of people seems to really like Hitman: Absolution, I wasn't that impressed by it personally. It has a very short campaign (roughly 10h) which consisted of doing more or less the exact same thing, going through a building to find someone while trying to remain undetected. The fact that you get penalized for killing enemies was also a bit of a put off for me. It doesn't give you enough time to get into the characters(who didn't really have personality anyway) or the story, because it's over very quickly. On a plus side the gameplay mechanics are pretty good.
But as a whole it just felt like it could have been so much better, in my opinion.
