Stick with it mate, I've been on maintenance from January but started upping the calories from last week.

Started a new workout program too.

2 more weeks left then i'm back on top fuel. Can't see broccoli again - it's been my mainstay of most dinners this time round!

What program are you on?

Funny tho thing is most posters on this board seemed quite keen on him a few months back. There were fans of Guardiola, Pellegrini and Klopp too, but can't remember many for Moyes.

For me it's a non-story. Doesn't really matter whether we didn't want him, or Jose didn't want to come here, he's at Chelsea and Moyes is our new boss.

This is why the media love Jose - he makes a comment that they can make a big story out of and that gets boards like these ticking over.

Thing is Jose is making all the right noises.

If he sticks to his word then Chelsea will do very well.

I won't lie, I wanted Jose. But Moyes is here and he gets my full support.

Mind games, he's a very clever man

Just had a little look at the workout and supps. Sounds like a monster of a bulk builder/fat killer. You should be as lean as hell on that one!

Good luck Dig...

You can't say that.

Mourinho is a better manager than Moyes.

The reason he didn't get the job was because the board were sceptical of his short termist approach. If he builds at Chelsea they will have an SAF type dynasty.

I still think we should have got Jose.

Probably other coaches were consdered, pep, mourinho, didnt the media say it was klopp at one stage, mourinhos playing mind games already, saying to moyes you were second choice, you are second best, hes trying undermine him and the media will run with it

posted on 16/6/13

That makes Moyes third choice after Mourinho and Ancellotti...

When was Ancelotti ever considered to take over? He confirmed it was all media bullshhit

posted on 16/6/13

No it wasn't, show me the link.

Also I dare say ManU had tried to convince Pep and Klopp at somepoint. Poor Gollum, I guess the board at ManU arnt keen on his turgid brand of anti football

In an interview with French publication L'Equipe, the 53-year-old Italian called speculation linking him with the Old Trafford hot-seat "a joke", insisting that he hadn't held talks with Sir Alex Ferguson.

"Ferguson has offered me a job in Manchester? That's a joke," said Ancelotti. "I can't understand these rumours.

"I can't understand why anyone would think that Ferguson would actually call me personally to talk about taking over at Manchester United."

"I did speak with Ferguson but it was to organise a coaches' meeting to be held on 24th May, before the final of the Champions League," he added.

"It's about the UEFA Elite Coaches' Forum, which takes place once a year in Geneva."

And I can't wait for Moyes to get his annual 6 points from you mercenaries, and finish above you this time round in the league

I love Mourinho. Can't help it. Would have hated him to come to United as manager, but as a character I think he's ace.

Everyone is just reading so much into this!!! And mention of the dreaded mindgames. It's all b*ll**ks!

Jose gets asked a question, he gives an answer, probably has a twinkle in his eye and thinks, I'll stir it up a bit, and everyone laps it up. Managers have big egos, and they like them to be massaged now and again, and what better way to do it than through the media. Mindgames? What is said between managers has little/no effect on what happens out on the pitch, but if the result happens to fit what was said before hand, then the media will pounce on that.

As far as Moyes is concerned, we really don't know how good a manager he can be. I personally feel the signs are good, and that he will make the next step up, but it's simply a case of wait and see. Jose has been there and done it, his difficulty will be trying to maintain the standards that he has previously set.

Haha I see the ManU PR got to Ancellotti then..

Moyes record vrs Mancini was impressive, how record against Pellergrini isn't good. Let's see what happens.

How's the 60m war chest going, bought Ronaldo's right leg yet?

posted on 16/6/13

I don't think Jose has a problem maintaining standards.
