Not only are they something that can come back often, but it's a mental thing too, somewhere in the back of your mind while playing a sport like tennis you'll be thinking about your knee or wherever you've had serious injuries

Before Wimbledon he won 7 tournaments on the bounce.

Chab 6 of those were on his beloved clay. At IW it looked like he was back but immediately withdrew from Miami (most prestigious of the masters)
I like Nadal and wish him well but I think there has to be serious doubts about whether his body can take the rigours of the tour other than clay
