Suarez to hold Arsenal talks

"And Suarez can say alright as you are doing this against my wishes I will leave on a Bosman only."

Jenius Suarez can do that anyway. Disagree to a contract with every other club an dstay out his contract like Squillachi and Chamakh. I'm not sure how the contract clause is helping in any way

Hood

Its up to you whether you believe it or not I don't care. What are you doing on thread aimed at Arsenal fans?

Jenius. Getting coached by your lawyer as to what to say, whilst awaiting your trial for shoplifting does not mean you've had legal training.....

Talking about a topic that regards a Liverpool player.

Why are you allowed internet access?

I've never seen an Arsenal fan on the Liverpool board in fairness

wow, what a total crock of shiite

firstly, allowing a player to talk to another club means nothing...we have honoured whatever agreement is therr.
if arsenal do not fulfil their part and meet liverpools asking price, this fictional scenario does not come into play...it pure fantasy.
i knew you guys liked making up fictional clauses with cesc but this isnt, never has been and never will be your player
suck it up...your bid is rejected

Because other players are not allowed to sit down and discuss terms.

We are allowed to talk to Suarez and negotiate personal terms that other contracted players are not allowed to do under tapping up rules.

Suarez is going to get an actual offer rather than promises.

Look at a similar situation with Benteke. Spurs probably promised a lot of stuff but after he handed in a transfer request, and it came time to negotiate with Villa, Spurs were not willing to offer £25m asking price. That means Benteke was never able to sit down with Spurs to discuss actual terms. So instead of agitating for a move based on a promise from Spurs that may never come about, he signed a new contract with Aston Villa.

Jenius, to be fair, you did add credence to your posts by quoting a "sports lawyer" on talkshít radio who will not have actually seen the contract and therefore will know precisely fúck all other than how to glean a fee by spouting sensationalist gash to utterly gullible mugs like yourself.

I'm sorry. I'm really very sorry.

and you think agents dont get a heads up as to what their client can expect prior to actually speaking to a player?
this clause is utter nonsense. it gives arsenal NO advantage in negotiating for suarez and they simple chanced their arm that offering over £40m would trigger an automatic acceptance

Jenius99, you should use the summer holidays wisely and get yourself a home tutor, your next few years at big school will be harder than you think.

Suarez will indeed hold all the cards.

He can run down his 3 year contract and spend the peak years of his short career, unhappy.

Bosman

Gonna be hard to get picked for your country if you're warming a bench in reserves.

What do you mean 'believing it'

Please tell me this was just a poor wind up and the guy doesn't really believe this.

all Suarez gets is the opportunity to have a contract discussion. Nothing like Liverpool is forced to keep him if he doesn't agree. The clause is not dictating any future selling restrictions, neither is it changing any balance of power.

The only way the 40mn clause can help out Suarez is if the loyalty bonus becomes unconditional above that amount (I'm not saying thats the case at all). Otherwise the I don't see how anything changes if Liverpool refuses. Yeah an unhappy player can dictate his future to an extent. But he would anyway have a good idea about how much he can expect to receive from other clubs. Thats what agents are for
