First one played with the right amount of side-spin on them to set it up perfectly for the winger sprinting into space; second one, he's already eyed the space and lifts the ball just to play the pass.

There are just so many things to watch. I have never seen anyone with that level of ball skills, and I don't think I ever will.

The line wasn't that deep when he played Mert. He was exposed a lot, in the Algeria game I think it was?

No it was actually quite deep! I remember the keeper playing as a sweeper so many times in that game. The only reason Mert played against Brazil is there was no way they would play a high line with Brazil's long diagonal balls.
