Thanks Andy. You guys seem to have a good scouting network. Ayoze did very well for Tenerife last season, but it's only Spain's second division and I can't remember him being talked about much outside of the islands.
As for Sevilla, they've lost Rakitic and Moreno but they've reinforced quite a lot this off-season. Here's a full list of Spanish transfers.
First column is players in, the ones marked with an asterisk being on loan. The ones in small print are returning loaness, some of them won't be in the squad by now but moved on to other clubs.

Our scouting system is alright, more hits than miss which is what you want from your scouts. Also there's no list
Oops, sorry Andy. Here:

Also, Mackay, wtf?

Wump, don't remember the exact context of his departure, but I do recall that the demands were always unrealistically high. Valencia have always been like that though.
Did you just say in a nice way that Valencia fans have always been deluded?
Not the global fanbase, but the expectations of the Mestalla crowd.
Deluded's a bit strong though, I wouldn't go that far.
My word that Malcky thing is incredible!
So true ioag. The crowd can be a bit overbearing sometimes.
Astana 0-3 Villarreal
Villarreal with one foot in the groups stages then. What's their coefficient like?
Still can't believe they were a pen away from extra time in a cl semi final just a few years ago!
Pel was a magician at Villarreal.
Just looked and they will be top seeds if they don't completely collapse and fail to qualify for the group stages.
We are 26th above some decent Champions league teams.
You should get a decent group as top seeds. Fiorentina and Everton are probably two of the hardest sides you could draw.
There are some shocking teams in the Europa, though.
Wouldn't have thought Villarreal would be so high after 2 seasons out of Europe and their dismal campaign last time out in the CL. All the better!
Henrik, some Arsenal fans want Santi out. Would you have him back?
Yes I'd love him back, but not sure how much they'd be looking for!

You are below us, but could still be top seeds as there's a lot of mediocre teams in the tournament
Henrik, where are you getting the coefficient from? I've always found wiki updates them the quickest and they have Napoli ranked higher than you on 61 to your 53.
I didn't consider the CL drop outs, you might need one of the teams ranked above you to fail to qualify to get top seed actually.
Forza, it looks like you'll be guaranteed a top seed as only five teams in the Europa groups stages will have a higher ranking than you, unless Zenit get knocked out as well.
I had checked the UEFA website, that would make more sense though.
They seem to be slow to update it, for some reason. I've often checked both and they've had different rankings and then when I've checked back the UEFA website has changed theirs to correspond with what wiki had, so there must be some reliability in wiki's rankings.
I don't get why that is because wiki reference the UEFA site for it anyway.

Bilbao are good at home as well. So it's going to be tough. You two drawing each other was the last draw I wanted. I wanted to see both teams in the group stages.
Napoli going out doesn't bode well for the future of Serie A either. At this rate Serie A will lose it's third CL spot rather than gain a fourth.
I laways use Bert Kassies page for UEFA rankings. Can take a bit to get familiar with it but it's the most complete one I know of, updates fast and even has discussion forums.
