I don't feel Suarez will move anywhere this Summer sadly

posted on 12/8/13

If Suarez does stay at Pool he'll just apologise and the fans will happily take him back, that's just how football works.

He would get blind support from the scousers even if he said a new training regime was stamping on kittens. Even if suarez doesn't appologize the club will just pretend nothing happened

Rogers' talk of loyalty is ridiculous seeing as how he's changed clubs when better opportunities were presented to him. Makes him looks like a complete hypocrite, even though Suarez may be the one in the wrong, he's not dealt very well with the situation.

Wenger ignored John Henry's claims in his pre match conference

He still thinks a deal could be done hes involved directly in negotiations

John Henry said Torres wasn't for the sale then sold him 3 days later

He also said if he a player isn't happy at a club we won't keep him

Trying to drive the price up, Arsenal will make a new offer of £50M

Luis Suarez said he would take the case to court if the clubs don't agree a fee its not in his character to apologize, show remorse.

Sid Lowe said Luis Suarez planned to hand in a transfer request before the end of last week but didn't which suggests the deal is further down the line

I would ignore this transfer now...it will not happen. I just wish Wenger will give up and look elsewhere...with just 3 weeks till the window shuts we need to act fast......

If he stays at Liverpool he'll just come out with some bullshît excuse and the club and fans will lap it up like they always do.

To move from an apology to comittment is a climb down. What is comittment supposed to mean? How can a player be committed if he has asked to leave.

If Arsenal were to promise him his loss of loyalty bonus I suspect he will issue a transfer request. The player then has to move unless Liverpool give him a new contract.

I think Arsenal are waiting to save money because he can't play at the beginning of the season. I would say sod it, promise Luis his loyalty bonus and get him into the squad. If Liverpool still refuse after he issues a transfer request, move onto Rooney.

By issuing a transfer request, Liverpool will lose Suarez to whoever if they still refuse to sell to us.

Wenger held a squad meeting asked the players if they were ok with signing Luis Suarez

The players all think Suarez will be signed, Wenger is in direct negotiations with Liverpool

it didn't make a difference with Stevie G

He isn't going to stay at liverpool, especially after his comments in the papers. I am almost certain we will get him but will take until the end of the window

Sid Lowe the guy who interviewed Suarez said he was planning to give in a transfer request before the end of last week

The fact that he didn't suggests a deal is closer than people think

Another interesting a bit of news is Chelsea want Samuel Eto, which could leave the door open for us to sign Rooney

posted on 12/8/13

Why would Wenger do that? Surely they know Suarez is not racist. He has been long enough in this country to know that he is too brown to be considered white by the edl.

Hmmmm Rooney and Suarez.

I say Rogers cant win. If Suarez stays he is a hypocrite who kept a player at the club who clearly wants. to leave o the first sign of problems and its his fault. He will not have his heart in it so probably wont perform as well.

And if they do sell Rogers will be seen as caving in and letting a player go who he said would not be sold.

Either way Rogers is a loser and is making himself look an idiot in the process.

Out of a respect to the players. Its the right thing to do before an offer has even been placed

Liverpool will use the lack of an apology/commitment as a pretext to sell, its a carefully planned strategic move from Rodger's and Liverpool

You are a plumb. We don't need to have an argument with Suarez to sell him. We are giving the little gobshîte the discipline he deserves.

It's as simple as that.

That's not how football works. It's more likely he'll sign a new deal with Liverpool and be completely forgiven than stay there but not play.

John, I would love to know your sources.

liverpool are missing out they should just sell him quick so They can buy a new striker for their level

Bit harsh mate. I think most fans of any club would do the same. Ronaldo talked of going to Real several times before he did. You kept him and your fans backed him. Rooney wanted out a season or so ago but you backed him. If he doesn't go to Chelsea this summer, again you'll back him.

All football fans are the same, fickle to the very core.

Suarez has annoyed me this summer, but if he scored a winner in the 89th minute in his first game back, you can bet that I'll be jumping up and down celebrating. It means my club wins a game.

FatJan, it was a cheap dig, if I'm honest.

But I do agree with what you've said there.

The Rooney and Suarez situations are different to Ronaldo though as we always knew he would go there one day and he stayed another year and helped us win the league.

Lots of United fans think Rooney is a prat, myself included, as do many with Suarez at Liverpool. But as you say, if they pull on that shirt and play all will be forgiven to a certain extent as that's just what fans are like.

Long Dong

Unfortunately for Liverpool they would have to give him £160k a week. That would automicatlly mean Gerrard gets £160k a week, as I am 100% sure he has a highest wage match contract.

Liverpool don't have the income to do it. At the very most they can send him on loan abroad. The problem with that is that they will devalue the player.
