If I tell you I find out the results the day before GCSE results day, will the signings be announced on a Tuesday?

there's a good chance we could see Fabregas, Ronaldo and Banega as well.

This very week last year, I was nervously awaiting my AS results

Even if you were held back 8 yrs for being thick as pig shìt this still makes you younger than me. Prìck.

Fellaini will sign this week. As long as he's registered before 5pm on friday he is eligible to play at Swansea on the saturday.

Baines won't be happening. Evra still looks more than good enough to me and he also seems like he's staying.

We'll get Fellaini and that will be that. Rooney will be staying too.

Yeah, I'm a teacher Serb. Getting the AS results on Wednesday too - Already got my "Well, you're off the course now" speech ready too!

I'm excited to see this Belgian side in the World Cup. They could go far.

Benteke HAS to be one of our signings next summer. People should google his world class goal against Malaga this weekend.

Indeed.

Fellaini comes in so Midfield is improved.

Everton won't sell Baines on cheap and I doubt they'd want to lose both he and Fellaini 5 days before the PL season starts.

Wayne Rooney won't be sold to Chelsea. Not a chance.

I stand by by Definite statements, Robb.

That will be enough. Rooney is the key.

Here's Benteke's stunner against Malaga. Such skill and strength.

He is going to be a monster of a player.

So is Drogba!

I'm amazed that nobody has tested Villa properly. All this talk about strikers leaving, he would have been a very real option for top clubs that are interested in a striker. A £35m offer would have been enough too in my eyes.

Spurs were going to buy him but for some reason pulled out. That might go against them next summer when the big boys get Benteke.

Best of luck, Dark

A midfielder coming in and Rooney staying would represent a solid summer.

Think it's too early to judge Benteke.

What is AS & GCSE?

Benteke could go to Chelsea next summer and join the Belgian revolution they have going on there.

I thought Chelsea was gonna buy Benteke?

Hope the signing is soon, 3 weeks is going to come and go really quickly.

Villa did well to tie him to a new 5 yr contract

posted on 12/8/13

To be fair, I'm glad Villa didn't go down. Brave decision to promote youth in such a way and even though they had to battle for their own survival, only way for them now is up. They'll have people knocking on their door for players soon enough over the years.

If Benteke produces a similar season to last, I'm sure even we'd look into his availability.

I don't see Villa struggling this season. They are more likely to reap he rewards of a successful gamble last season.

Benteke has a release clause of 25 million apparently
