Hunt to Blackpool
Steven Mackay from Dundee Utd to us

FCK's top earners paid £5,000 a week, so I think you can scrub that one.

Heard it was £30,000 a month Wolfgang but whats £10,000 a month these days.

Read somewhere were only after one player which is fine as long as we don't lose Sako and Doyle.

Sako to Crystal Palace-4m

I'd expect us to get rid of o'hara and johnson late on too...probably on loan to champ clubs.

Steven Mackay would be a good signing-skills!

Mackay-Steven is regarded by many as an "old fashioned winger", his main aim is to reach the byeline and cross the ball. Being predominantly left footed, he hugs the touchline and has a unique running style. A feature part of his game is to use many dribbling skills to gain advantage of his opponents. He is often shown on the British television show Soccer AM in the segment 'showboat', due to his skilful ability on the ball.

Early years[edit source]

Mackay-Steven began his career with Ross County before moving to English Premier League side Liverpool in 2007.[3] After spending two years at Anfield in the reserve and youth sides, Mackay-Steven was released after an injury plagued season. He trained with Fulham before eventually returning to Scotland.

Injury-plagued. Should fit in!

Mackay sounds exciting, might be a decent replacement for Sako within our budget and range and young enough to have good potential to improve too. Must admit I've not seen it anywhere but here though?

Be interesting to see Adlene have another crack at the prem.

Rumours that Blackpool are very interested in Hunt, not sure why they'd have left it this late though and the deadline doesn't really matter given he's a free agent.

Would love to see Johnson and O'Hara ditched but can't help but feel it won't happen, they've been available so long and we must want so little for them, why wouldn't someone take them before? That said, maybe they'll go to a team who loses a player late and can't replace them permanently in time or a team who has a transfer fall through late in the day. We'll see I guess.

Good thing...I think. At the moment no news is good news for us I would say because keeping Doyle and Sako would be considerably better business than the best players we could bring in.

If we lose one of them or rumours start about medicals etc. then I'll start worrying we'll lose and not replace them.

Margherita travelling to Copenhagen now for a season long loan. Good move I think, obviously not in KJ's plans and a body out the door and a wage off the books.

Quote from Tim Nash on E&S site: 'At Compton. KJ has just said there's no fresh interest in Sako or Doyle'

Quick - turn the phones off, lock'em in a room and let 'em out at 23.01 tonight.

Twenty quid to anyone who will get hold of all Wolves's fax numbers and fax them blank pieces of paper non-stop until midnight

Kj is a Jedi master of the lie technique though.

I reckon we are gonna keep both players

Wasn't it KJ who said we wouldn't have any more transfers in minutes before we announced the signing of Golbourne!

Yeah, I also feel like KJ also makes out he knows nothing at all about transfers when it can't be true. He's said a few times that he has absolutely no idea what's going on with this or that player, surely the manager must talk enough to the CEO to know who there are offers for and who there aren't.

Which makes my cynical side wonder if he's being distanced from transfers out and non-transfers in which the fans won't be happy about lol...

I suppose it's a good sign that the players we've released, or are rumoured to be moving, are going to clubs of a higher standing. That says a lot for the overall quality of the squad.

Who knew margreitter would soar highest hey bute, champions league!!

I guess that it's part of the "new" structure, Ulf, with KJ being Head Coach or whatever the title is rather than "manager".

Thelwell's comments about transfers (in and out) are conspicuous by their absence!

B&S reporting Sako set to stay because Copenhagen can't afford him. Imagine one of the biggest clubs in a country not being able to afford 4m Sako while the biggest in another country pays nearly 22 times that for a player.

Since you had a dig Cinci, I'll do the same (see my previous comment as proof that I totally let it go)...funny that Solbakken has gone to a massive club...who can't afford a third of Wolves' Championship transfer budget.
