Sadly I can't attend tonight 1-2 defeat, double
Bit fresh, although we are now in to spring, 16C today. We have had a lot of rain in Perth for the last few weeks. Those dams need filling!
im not biting given the previous posts about clayton being motm on Saturday..
im more hoping they were tongue in cheek..if not then there isn't much point having a football related site.
norwood/clayton/Paterson out..
scannell/gobern/stead in...
this international clearance is a bit of a farce.. one email in, one e mail out, how can that take so long???
the premier clubs clear Russians and Chinese players in a couple of days at the very longest...
defensive wise, you know my thoughts, we could play anyone and look dodgy, its not who we select its the way we do it that sh-te....
we got away with not scoring on Saturday, it wont happen again...
I cant predict a score when town are playing but I do expect us to have to score twice to get a result...

MB. So, £10 and £5 tonight, how many will turn up? 14k at best if you ask me.
5 bars from me

I was going to 'post'.....way too early, not realizing there was a game on TONIGHT !
This is what happens when interest ...wains
& not just by me it would seem.
poor response on here,(not the match thread- in general)& disappointing attendances at the games.
From what I read, Town just seem to be bobbing along & nothing more, with the underlying suggestion (as I interpretate it) that the team as a whole are capable of way better than that ? - is that right ???
So, different managers, different players, yet same negative formations,
lack of effort (as a collective)
suspect skill levels
1 man scoring the bulk of the goals, (albeit a different 'man'
A midfield that struggles to gell..
& a defense that can't.....er, defend !
and that's just the 'on' field problems,
Darn's solution
Get the Plumbers in ?
because the water system at that ground must be 'forked'....affecting all & sundry,
I'll bet you if the investigation is carried out...
it will be revealed that the plumbers/installers/fitters were all L666s fans & the supply is compromised..
Just saying
on that assumption, If we get a result tonight.."Didn't we do well - considering"
also, will 10 thou turn up ?
......a previous 13 thou witness a 0-0, and Donny will have brought more than the Valiants will for a mid-week night game, + a good few won't be able to afford 2 home games in a week (unless they are in possession of a ridiculously cheap season ticket The Irony, )
Not getting up for this one, I'll 'click on' tomorrow & see how 'we' went on.
2-1 Town Vaughan & maybe someone else.
problem is..on Saturday Vaughan had a couple of chances in the box..he fluffed both but there was no one except Donnie players to take any advantage..
we hit the post after a goalmouth scramble, no one there to take advantage.
we are really, really playing with one front man..
norwood, hogg and clayton cant or wont get there..
hammill is outwide.. even after stead came on we still never really had more than one bloke in their box from open play..
if Vaughan does not score there simply isn't anyone close enough to score in open play..
we were at home and didn't have a "free man" whilst Donnie had coppinger going where he pleased..
still think we don't have the legs in midfield for one man to get up and down or its still the tactic to hold back.. either way it limits our attacking capabilities and dropping back in lines limits any depth to the defending from the front..
The players certainly don't seem relaxed and look like they are enjoying it...probably thinking it's too much like hard work all this..
Watched Swansea last night...we're a long way from that level yet...although I know they've done it for many years now...It's like the manager has told them they can have it for two touches and no more than 3 seconds...
most of the time the guy on the ball has at least two passing options with team mates running into gaps...it's basic stuff really...but if you haven't got the stamina (or the heart) you just stay hidden behind an opponent...
where's me catapult...
A Derby fan here. I come in peace. I'd like to know how Theo Robinson is doing. His demise at Derby was a bit sad really. He works hard and is very quick which upset a lot of defences, causing them to play further back than usual out of fear for his pace. But he sometimes lacked a cool head and missed a few sitters. (all strikers do).
Last season he started well and scored more goals than his team-mates. That seemed to make him some sort of prima-donna and Nigel Clough was having none of that. A
rift developed and there was always going to be only one winner.
Anyway, I hope he does well for you except against us that is. Be nice to know how he is performing.
