Not taking the mick but these comments Moyes is making have shades of the noises Hodgson was making during his time at Liverpool. Sometimes its better to big up your own chances, even if you don't believe it yourself, rather than being brutally honest.

I saw these quotes 5-6 hours ago when I woke up and was absolutely infuriated. Some of the things he has spoken to the media have been utterly disgraceful just like complaining about the fixture list as a conspiracy.
I have said it before and will continue to say - MOYES ONLY WAS APPOINTED MANAGER BECAUSE HE IS BRITISH.
We all like to take a mick at Rodgers but at least he speaks well to the media and motivates the players. Moyes looks like a deer caught in headlights at press conferences and speaks as if the whole world is against him.

Dont understand why Moyes is complaining about not having world class players. He had 3 months to buy and he bought fack all.

Each day united fall further down, mid table team now. Target top 6 and that's a result the way the players are playing.......yesterday you could tell the players didn't have a clue what to do and looked line they really didn't want to play. The only one was Rooney who wanted to leave, and the Belgium kid who was outstanding!

I must admit he does come across as the proverbial deer in the headlights.

This team won the league with ease last year but he's managed to turn it into God knows what.

His makeshift back 4 was horrible and bringing on fellaini for anderson who was causing them problems was criminal. Taking of Kagawa for Januzaj then playing him on the right was baffling

Looking at our squad, the following players in the first 11 have to be replaced over the next year or two

Rio, Vidic, Carrick, Evra. There are replacements for Vidic and Rio already so all we need to do is replace Carrick and Evra and add a couple of midfielders.

I like that he doesnt pander to our wannabes. For too long fergie allowed some of our players to think they were better than they are and that showed in their 'just turn up and win' attitude yesterday.

Vidic and Rio are regrettably way past their best, especially Rio thought Vida is still one of the best in the league.

De Gea isn't nearly world class yet. He's improved tremendously but compare him to the likes of Cech andBuffon and he is still very raw.

The players have to take the blame for yesterday because quite frankly I have seen SAF start the same or similar players against better teams than WBA and they've won. They were an utter disgrace in the second half yesterday, but the game should have been over by half time if we hadn't beeen so poor finishing chances (anderson, rooney, hernandez).

I dont think Fellaini is that bad.At least give him a chance till December.
My gripe is with him playing upfront. City game and yesterday s game. When we were losing why was he playing up top. And why was Hernandez taken off?
