Don't be nasty. Just pointing out the hypocrisy and inaccuracy of it all. Abu Dhabi vs Russia in the CL final. One or two English players involved. The protests against the Super League "ruining football" seem rather hypocritical. It's an uncomfortable truth that you don't want to face up to.

I am very capable of making myself look like a twaat, as I am sure you're aware. However, the awkward subject of financial doping in English football seems to be getting you guys wound up when it is mentioned. It is literally a CL final between Abu Dhabi and Russia, and it is being celebrated as an English success, amongst protests about money ruining the game. Surely some recognition of hypocrisy will eventually come?

I am sure that hurts the clubs' feelings enough for them to resort to doing things fairly. I am not suggesting burning down the Etihad with all of their fan inside, but a level of consistency regarding "our game" would be good. A Chelsea v Man City final basically epitomises the dire state that the game is in. But because both of these teams are "English" it is seen as a good thing? If it had been PSG it would have been bad as well. It's not just because it's English. It's just the hypocrisy of trying to protect the integrity of something that is already facked. Doesn't make much sense.
