He messed up big time in SA, the whole world except Uruguay wanted that pen to go in. He wasn't even Ghana's first choice pen taker, it was Stephen Appiah.

His parents are Ghanaian and he has a big presence in the football/sports scene in Ghana.

If his parents are Ghanaian he is Ghanaian, doesn't matter where he lived.
