It is something special. Let us know about this 'breakfast' ? I just get on the ale One tip for Paris....take lots and lots and lots of cash! Enjoy, it's fantastic
I'd just hit the streets and walk around. Took the mrs a few years ago and was struck by how beautiful a city it is, more so than I thought it would be. Just did the usual tourist things but that'll keep you happy for a weekend.
We asked our hotel for restaurant recommendations and the food was top notch. Not that I can remember where we went, I have a terrible sense of direction at the best of times, but ask your hotel and hopefully you'll have as much luck as we did.
Only tips, watch out for tourist bars - you can get stung for a pint (£9 in my case!) and don't let the street sellers tie this rediculous friendship things on your wrist, the mrs did that and again they demand a load of cash for it.
Just steer off the tourist spots just by the river and head to the Latin Quarters, great food, great cafes, good shopping, enjoy Pari'!

Paris would be great if it wasn't full of French people Make sure you try to speak French when asking for anything. Otherwise you might be ignored.
As for eating - try Disneyland
Was a complete shítèhole nothing really special anout it so I'd recommend staying at St. Pancras and heading home

Rip off and the food is awful.
The turkey legs at Disneyland are pretty special to be fair
take a lot of money with you, because you'll need it
If you think Paris is beautiful then you haven't travelled very much. It's dirty and the people are ârseholes. The very centre is nice, but apart from that I didn't care for it at all
Cheers for responses
On Eurostar as I type this. We might do one if those hop on hop off bus tours when we arrive.
The breakkie was served from the same chain as the champagne bar. Poached eggs, bacon, says and a latte - she got the same brekkie but an apple juice. Came to about £22 which wasn't bad considering the quality
Enjoy the week gents and thanks again for feedback
Le louvre is nice I'll give em that but not much of a museum fan myself. Never got the hype about that silly painting either of a woman called Lisa or something especially when there were around 100 odd people crowded round it
What rap said. France is a fecking sh.ithole

They all chomp on onions and go "o hi ho hi ho"
Avoid Paris.
It really is a dump...and makes London look cheap. Its costs a fortune to do anything.
The Louvre is worth it though. I only went after reading the Da Vinci code.
That was about it....went to the Eifel tower, that Notre Dam bell thingy, went out in the evenng...nothing was memorable
