I went up there last month about 5pm, so it was light going up and dark coming down, perfect timing.
FBK i remember you discussing that on the match thread
So many philistines on this thread. Paris is one of the best cities in the world. If you go only to the major tourist spots you'll be disappointed as the city has so much more to offer. Wander the marais, stop at Stollys, a tiny little pub for a pint. Head to the international photography museum near St. Paul. Wander the 11th and try out the Bottle Shop or Red House for a drink. See what's on at cite de la musique or stroll along the canal. Eat in brasseries away from the tourists and the food is good and cheap. Can the city be expensive, absolutely. But it doesn't have to be. And is certainly cheaper than London.
Disclaimer: I lived there for years and married a Parisian woman. Go back for at least a month every year.

Late to the party but.
Go to Monmartre .. when you get to the square at the peak, there is a great little place called Chez Eugene.
Enjoy

Yes which is your opinion you silly man
In contrast I think it's one of the worst places I have ever visited.
I thought it was fantastic when I went but I did go during a World Cup and also squeezed Disneyland, the Eiffel Tower etc. into the trip
But yeah, the people are rude, if you are around the tourist type places.
