Arteta is a better option than Flamini!

Disagree completely, Flamini is the better option.

At home against teams like Palace he is better option but against top teams, I rather Flamini start ahead of him.

Horses for courses is, I think, the phrase.
When we dominate possession Arteta is the better player. As soon as teams get into games he is not good enough, and Flamini is far better suited to the game.

Neither are really good enough.

They both offer different things. Flamini will just sit back and bite at the opposing players. Arteta is more about comtrolling the tempo.

agree with that, you really need a CM with the attributes of both of those players combined and a little younger!

Arteta can help at the back and go forward.....but will shy from being a bit in an aggressive tackle.....Flamini will go in hard and will unsettle the midfield of the opposing teams....unless its Yaya or someone who can give as good as he gets...

The key is that they cannot play together - preferably one of Jack or Aaron should be alongside them.

We were playing Palace hardly the best team in the pl. Flamini is the better option.

Arteta was bought in a stop gap for Ramsey to get back to his game and Wilshere when he was injured. Don't expect either to last beyond their contracts.

I don't think its a straight forward as that. Even before Flamini got his red I said that I thought Ox might be a better choice than both together.

I think the best partnerships are one of Flamini and Arteta with one of Ramsey and Wilshere. Probably Flamini and Ramsey and Arteta and Wilshere.

Flamini is liable to pick up a card at any time.

Gustavo would have been perfect really.

Cabaye would of been perfect. Gutted we didn't pay the £17m or whatever it was in the summer.

I hope we are looking to buy someone who can sit. Maybe that surfer Busquets has our dna.

Really? He's not that much better than Mikel.

Cabaye that is.

Schneiderlin?

posted on 2/2/14

Cabaye is, approximately, 3847x better than Mikel (assume you're talking about John Obi, and not Arteta?).

Class player. Excellent passing range, scores goals, tackles well, good in the air.

Was talking about Arteta

Oh, well Cabaye is better than him too, tbf.

Would have liked Gustavo to join but we didn't bid for him for some reason.

Mikel plays AM for Nigeria and he is seriously good when he puts on the green jersey. Great club guy to stifle his game for the team.

Gustavo is a poor man's Paulinho.

Yes, but not by that much. 17M would have been a waste.
