Who are Forrest?

It's Forest. Oh and Forest are the reason you play in red

Im not saying we're going to beat you. Im just pointing out to the OP that if we do play the reserves not to rule us out as they may surprise us. The same applies to liverpool

6 past us? As if that has any bearing on a side that has the top 1,2 in goals scored in the prem not too mention knocked 5 past you a week ago.

If arsenal do play a weakened side then wenger cannot have any arguements if he gets beat; and probably gets beat badly.

Again GB im not saying we'll put 6 past you. Just that the reserves may do better than we expect fom them

love how the mickey mousers are getting all gobby after one win

last time they won the league john barnes only weighed 16 stone

Ok frim. Tbf to wenger what does he do? Injuries and 3 quick games have killed him, he cant realistically play the same 11 for all 3 that would give bayern a huge advantage.

Wenger could easily argue dropping ozil..giroud..arteta..monreal makes sense as they have looked tired and off form.

posted on 16/2/14

I dont care if we play the same gk, defense and midfield as long as giroud os dropped and not just for 1 game.

I cant see us beating bayern but we can keep it tight if our defence play the way they have for most of the season

gb doesnt speam the opinion of everyone, I dont think todsy will be easy at all

We also have enough options to rotate in attacking areas. Our CBs are having to play every game so they're the only 2 im worried about.

Its not over until the fat lady sings. But if we go out she will certainly be warming her voice up.

If its true that we are going to play a weakened team in a competition that is our best chance of a trophy it will certainly bring Wengers decision making into question again. I'm not a WOB but not AKB either and sit at varying degrees between the two. But with him not making sure he brought in obviously needed players in January and regularly sacrificing lesser trophies to go after the big ones and getting nothing there are questions to be asked.

And don't forget, if we don't win a trophy this season by the time we can get one at the end of next season it will be 10 years without a trophy. That is quite a milestone.

Who said it was easy? I said....if you read my comments; if arsenal play their reserves then wenger can have no complaints "if" we win and win comfortably. Do you the key word there? Well do ya punk??

Fabianski
Sagna Per Kos Gibbs
Flamini Rosicky
Gnabry Ozil Podolski
Bendtner

Hoping for this. If Ozil is rested, play Rosicky in his position and Ox/Jack in midfield. NOT Arteta.

I remember when we played Chelsea in the league cup final in 07 we put out a team with our oldest player 21 or something and Chelsea haf a full strength team out yet we gave them a very good game.

Our reserves might play with more hunger then the first team and the likes of Podolski and Gnabry may take this as an opportunity to show why they should get kore game time in the PL

Have a feeling Arteta will start since he misses the Bayern game anyway no need to rest him. Hope I'm wrong though

If Arteta and Flamini start together I won't watch.

It might not be a bad thing for Arteta to start though.give him a chance to make up for his last 2 performances.I think the media is overplaying the changes that will be made to the team today.

Personally a fresh Flamini against a thirty something Gerrad who played midweek already gives us a massive advantage.Adding to the fact that we introducing more pace with the likes of Gnabry,Ox and Podolski Im not sure what some pool fans are celebrating.

Will also like to see Vermalean come in for Mertesacker and wouldnt be too bothered if Sagna is rested as well.more pace in defence with Verm and as long as we control [posession like we did at Anfield liverpool could be in for a shock as we have more pace in that team.

b10

Nothing wrong with Arteta. Thought he was decent against Utd. Its the Flamini/Arteta partnership which is wrong.

And Vermalen is out I think. No idea what, when and how his injury happened but he's missed the last 2 games.

b10, where has anyone celebrated?

Ryo Miyaichi could be good option to bring off the bench later in the game. He cant do much with the ball but his pace could force the opposition back much like a young Theo Walcott

Arsenal had a stroll in the park against United (neither team looked that bothered really) whereas Liverpool had to play full speed for 90+ minutes to beat Fulham.

I know which team will be fresher at 4 o'clock... (Harrow Borough FC #badumtish)

So the cup is Wigan's to lose then. Pity the fool who draws the defending champions.
