Is it true Forest fans at Burnley sang " Were Nottingham Forest...it is what it is" as Billy Davies walked off?

Rev...he does seem to be turning Forest fans against him. Derby fans have witnessed his attitude up close. But he is what he is
Rev ... We have been to the brink so many times ourselves... we feel compassion for the likes of Birmingham, Coventry and Forest..... Et al ... There but for the grace of god etc.....
Seriously speaking ... our lives would NOT be richer for your demise / plunge into the abyss / FFP nightmare/ return of McLeish..... Etc....
Rams fans would rather we played you every year at the highest level but obviously with us at least one point ahead for all time to come.
Yes Rev, it's terribly sad
I'm only a Rams fan by the grace of Vishnu, or whatever, and we're not all that different really apart from my good looks, my questioning mind and my ability to charm the birds from the trees, and so it doesn't take a deal of empathising to apprecate how raw your pain must be as you realise, deep down inside, that you've backed the wrong horse again.
Not only has Billy Bonkers had your pants down, this time you begged and pleaded with him to come back and he's done you a wrong'un AGAIN, only this time you had your eyes open the whole time. It's difficult not to laugh, sure, because there's certainly a comedic value to your going through the exact same motions as last time and having the exact same results and you're having to make the exact same excuses for the exact same man and his exact same behaviour but I'm trying to be gracious about it all.
You're not making it easy though, with your wilful refusal to see the stark and obvious

It does seem to be the case that the widely-held opinion of Davies in football is negative, and not just in the media. Before the Sheffield United game I heard a comment on the TV that while you would have to go a long way in football to hear a bad word said about Nigel Clough, the same could not be said about Davies. This surely can't help when it comes to recruitment and may well be the reason why Forest have missed out on so many players who they were apparently very keen to sign. Other clubs and players' agents don't seem to like dealing with Davies and when you have made as many enemies as Davies you are not likely to be high on the list of managers to call should a player become available. To say that having a manager who is generally despised within the game doesn't matter is simply naive - in football as in life maintaining good relations can only help when it comes to doing business.
Sane words from Vidals and not spot on assessment from 666........
You see Rev we are all trying to help you....
Open up and feel the love
Spot on .... Sorry typo 666

--------------
You don't need to go that far do you? Plenty of Derby and Forest fans who think he's an idiot.
I tell you what, I'm going to make a bold prediction now and when it comes true I'm going to bang on about it for years. In fact, even if it doesn't come true, I'm going to bang on about it as if it has come true.
My prediction is that Steve McClaren will one day leave Derby County!....................You Just Wait. He might get sacked, he might resign, but I'll tell you what, he will definitely leave. And there could be tears. And I'll say 'I told you so!'.

I'll remember that one when you're clutching at your chest in the middle of a golf course somewhere and there's only me to save you.......
caniggia
Don't be obtuse. You know what I meant.
I'll take those odds, Vidal... the chances of me being in the middle of a golf course are ridiculously slim.
Tramping around in the long stuff around the outside of one, however...
FFS Rev, Billy is over a year into his second tenure, it's going to hell in a hand cart. We told you so and it's happening and you still can't see it.
You blind or what?

666 has gone to put his black armband on...
Bob Crow has died
Mouthed off at Derby, got himself sacked and a pay-off.
Mouthed off at Forest, got himself sacked and a pay-off.
Mouthing off at Forest...
"Let's give him another full season and then judge him"
Billys made a right mess of this. He's now getting all the blame and all the stick for our recent bad results. When the reality is, to mind at least, you lose your first choice back 4 and your best two players. Plus a few others. You're going to struggle. Nature of the beast I suppose. He his what he is.
I won't be picking a fight over Bob Crow on the day he died, Strett; I didn't agree with him much but now's not the time.
Say we did sack him, what would you guys do with all the additional time?
Don't worry Ray, even without Davies there is an inexhaustible supply of material with which to ridicule Forest. We managed OK before, and we'll manage OK after. Even after he has gone there will be plenty of you campaigning for a triumphant third return!
If you do it at any sort of sensible level it would still leave a massive sink hole in your 'life'. There has been plenty to laugh at in terms of Derby in recent years, but Forest fans only use a small fraction of what you lot put in regarding Davies. You should perhaps line a hobby up just in case
