Billys made a right mess of this. He's now getting all the blame and all the stick for our recent bad results. When the reality is, to mind at least, you lose your first choice back 4 and your best two players. Plus a few others. You're going to struggle. Nature of the beast I suppose. He his what he is.

Jeeeeeeezzzzz Sutton. You thick tvv@t. Billy has created a myth and you've gobbed it you di(k.

Your team should of beat bottom of the league but are low on confidence due to Billy's constant harping about them not being good enough.

Why are you, suddenly going to get better when you where 5hite before they where injured. Yeovil stuffed your fully fit squad.

He has unfinished business at Derby 666, maybe you can campaign for him to come back one day

Tbf, I think a 1 is a lot more than you should get, you should appreciate the complement

Don't be daft Iwas. We were 16/17 unbeaten before we lost. How would you get on if I told you you couldn't play your first choice back 4. Your best 2 players and a couple of others for your next few games?

I think we'd moan about it but look to our youngsters to fill in the gap, Hendrick RB, O'Brien CB Whitbread (loan) LB Lowe.

We'd be behind the team understanding the injuries they had but enjoying seeing glimpses of the next generation of players coming off our academy conveyor belt. If we were struggling in one area we might get an emergency loan in of good stock wanting to play for Schteeve. We'd probably curse our luck but be proud of the team spirit that has been nurtured at this club and enjoy seeing how our young talent could try and fill the void left by absentees.

IMHO

if your next best isn't good enough to beat Barnsley having spent millions then Billy wants sacking.

"if your next best isn't good enough to beat Barnsley having spent millions then Billy wants sacking."

A bit extreme don't you think to sack him right now? Why would you want that anyway?

Rev I'll take it you know your fans more than I do but from social media it seems like at least a very vocal minority of fans.

I think one of the things with Billy that Derby fans or fans of other clubs won't get is. On forums or twitter it looks like fans are divided on Billy and loads hate him. But at games, at least where I sit you don't get that feeling.

His name is still sung every game and unlike plenty of managers we've had recently you don't here shouts at him if things aren't going well. Although to be fair that's not very often at the City Ground. I think the internet doesn't give a true reflection of how fans feel.

Sorry to go back a few posts but:

That doesn't make sense? I mean how does a mirror reflect a stench?

Get with the poetry and roll with the fiction fella ...

....although I would be interested to read any literature from a non-fiction perspective dealing with this subject.

Sutton ... I don't think Derby fans were on his back either ... right up to the point we got home from Wembley and instead of looking forward to a premiership season we were all saying :

" he said what ?... Why would he say that at the point of victory ?.. Wtf ! "

He had waited far too long for a bit of success only for him to pi$$ on our chips .... Whilst they were still frying !

What happened afterwards is a long forgotten part of our illustrious history

Correction .... We had waited ...not he

From a social media perspective there does seem to be a spectrum from blind faith to anger at his behaviour to doubts about his ability to stab the c.nt.

Most seem to be in the middle, for Derby fans and prolly Preston fans it's a sign of history repeating itself, not saying we're right but it does re-open a few old wounds for us to see him acting like he is....hence our responses.

It might end differently for you, he could still get you to the Premiership, but then we'd still be saying history will repeat itself.

If he gets you up and gets you more than 11 points in a season with no serious funny business I'll back down and accept I was wrong though.

Why didn't Derby beat Millwall at home? Is it because Steve's new manager effect has worn off and he will now revert to his old self? More like the manager we saw at Forest, England, Wofsburg and 2nd time at Twente? Or can he fluke another good season like his one and only success at Twente?

posted on 11/3/14

Wasn't one of their strikers suspended?

Yeah right

You doubt me Caniggia....Derby fans always moan win. lose or draw. I do think we'd not use the excuse as much as you lot though and do think our academy would offer us a few options. Also, blooding some youngsters so we had some long term benefits from our plight. Resiliency I think is the word.

SM got the tactics badly wrong on Saturday ... And correctly said afterwards "we wouldn't have scored if we'd played for another 2 days "

I suspect he went away to examine in detail every aspect of the game to ensure the whole team including him get it sorted.

.......or possibly he called his legal team .... Whose advice to say "nay comment" was duly ignored
