Can't believe it's actually real. Wonder if it started off as a joke?

Wonder if this will lead to some less educated people making plane gestures without realising what it could mean.

i say let it fly, if it has the remotest possibility of getting him out then let it fly in the sky, let the whole world know that most of us are fed up.

Fair play to them, they have the balls to do something about the manager rather than whine on a forum
--------------------------

There is nothing brave about sending a faceless plane banner.

----------------------------------------------------------------------

In your opinion
-------------------------------

What's brave about it?
----------------------------------------------------------------------

They care enough to do something about the man destroying their club.
---------------------------------

I never said that they didn't care. Just that it doesn't take balls to do what they have done.
----------------------------------------------------------------------

Hiring a plane, spending hard earned money to get their point across. I beg to differ
---------------------------

Oh yeh, they're real touch. Balls of steel those lads.

Starting to see just how two faced some of you are on here.

All talk and bluster about how you are unimpressed about Moyes, yet when someone has the balls to do something about it, you all get back on your high and mighty soap boxes.

This is ready achieving its goal by getting publicity. Well done to this group of fans.

I don't want to see anymore whineing about Moyes on here from certain posters, because I have now seen where you really stand.
-----------------------------------

Please tell me you are being sarcastic here VC? Have a read back of your post, then see who is acting high and mighty and getting on their soap box. Jesus man, you need to learn accept that some fans wont always have the same opinion as you.

There are plenty of United fans that do want Moyes out, but that don't agree that this is the right way to go about it. We all have our own opinions.

Plane banner ridiculous. Give Moyes another chance next season. Too much success can cloud one's judgement. Toys out of the pram time.

Not being sarcastic at all.

I just don't have any issue with a group of our fans expressing their feelings over our current situation.

If Moyes keeps his job things will get worse.

If you are pro Moyes that's your issue. But get off your soap box against those that are not.

If you want our club to continue its downfall carry on writing about it on here.

Not everything in life is black and white.

I was all for giving Moyes a chance, but I have slowly slipped the other way and can't now see him redeeming himself at United. So I am in no way pro Moyes.

I just don't agree with flying this banner whilst the team is flying. I think it'd be better to voice their disapproval at the stadium after the game is over, or to organise a march. But when the team is playing, you support them.

How can a plane flying over the stadium has any effect on players?

----------------------------------------------

I never said that it would. I think I read that it is going over before the game kicks off.

But either just before or during, the focus should be on supporting the team and getting the result.

I also think that the banner is a cheapshot to be far. It lacks class.

Do you think the players are going to stop playing to ogle at the plane or the like.

It isn't going to have any effect on the game. Rio might pull his phone out of his shorts and snap a photo, mind.

I think it is before the game VC so they might be in the changing rooms still.

Its a necessary evil imo, Any other club would have sacked Moyes by now, Only thing keeping him on the job is fan support and SAF and sir bobby's backing. Have you seen his press conference? he is deluding himself to believe most supporters back him. what if the board is in the same opinion?
To be fair to him Its difficult to paint a clear picture when supporters are sending out mixed signals, these kind of stunts could send the msg across and motivate the others to voice their opinions

comment by Elvis (U7425)

I think it is a fair point about mixed signals, but it is obvious that in the last couple of home games the support for him in the stadium has waned. The fans are still supporting the players, and there is the show of defiance against the LFC and City fans, but the Moyes songs have disappeared. I'd be surprised if he hasn't noticed that himself, but if he hasn't, it shouldn't take too long.

posted on 28/3/14

Not singing his name doesnt necessarily mean supporters want him gone though is it? SAF and sir bobby wont advocate sacking of Moyes so only chance for Moyes to be sacked is if Galzzers intervene imo, they wont intervene unless they are 100% certain that majority of fans want him gone, So its important to voice your discontent

Which is why I wouldnt be against fans chanting after the game is over. At least this way the owners will know what percentage in the stadium are against Moyes. With the plane banner it could be 1 or 1,000

posted on 28/3/14

The double standard is amazing, chanting death to the glazers is fine during a game or but flying a plane with a message from fans is wrong.

Which one is more damaging?

Fair play to them for doing this rather than pontificating online about how to or how not to protest

Join in from your sofa will you? Way to make your voice heard.

You want Moyes gone.. well.. The banner in the sky won't exactly strengthen his position will it?

Benched

They are like spoilt brats stamping their feet, i've seen it all before!!!!

I'm not saying Moyes is blameless, But you can't blame him for poor marking, players that can't pass the ball to a team mate without giving the ball away and players making poor decisions when on the ball!!!

So tell us why its Moyes fault that Rio lost his man for Ciiy

They won't keep backing him as if they do and results don't improve, they'll be the focus of the fans protest.

No way Fergie will have that mark on his legacy.
