I take no pleasure in Moyes being sacked. He just wasn't up to it.
Throwing that opinion at those who thought he was the right man lacks class, is childish, boring and offers no sense of debate which is what these boards are for.

This "I told you so" culture is absolutely pathetic. What does any poster gain out of it? Being right?! Big woop!

I gave Moyes a chance and it didn't work out for him. Does that suddenly make me wrong and I should be ashamed of it because I did not see him inevitable doom the moment he was the Manchester United Manager.

I'd rather have faith in the Manager and the team and hope for success. Then sit there with a negative mindset forever hoping a Manager gets sacked, just so I can be right.

According to Klopp himself.

And in the hours after Moyes' exit was confirmed Klopp, quoted in The Guardian, said he will not break that contract.

"Manchester United is a great club and I feel very familiar with their wonderful fans," he told the newspaper, "but my commitment to Borussia Dortmund and the people is not breakable."

Apparently, we're trying some discreet moves to find out whether Guardiola can be tempted away from Bayern Munich.

My 3rd choice.
Not proven with a poor team and I find his 'pass until the opposition make a mistake' philosophy dull.

Klopp all the way.

RE the article, there was people on this board that would insult others for not supporting Moyes. There's wrongdoing from both sides, no one is right.

Feck it I think we should just poach Martinez off Everton, I like his philosophy and he seems a great man manager.

Agreed.

What about the guy who Beckham booted?

The thing is we all wanted what was best for Utd, we had opposing views but that's fine. What I took exception to was the amount of abuse hurled at people who did not believe Moyes was up to it.

There was no need for it, none whatsoever

Heisenberg comes to mind. Mindless idiot. As scholay put it, it was never about Moyes. United could have never achieved their goals with him as manager.

Style of Simeone's football isn't as nice as Klopp and he cracks when things are not going well. I'd stay away from him for a year or two.

There was only gonna be one winner. Let the I told you so's commence!

I think we should appoint Beckham. He's a proven winner, knows the club, and has worked under some of the best managers in the game around Europe so will have picked up a lot of knowledge from them along the way. He'll command instant respect from the players as well.
