If we had somehow managed to bumble our way through and win the CL, could you imagine the team bus making its way through the city centre with all the 'Moyes out' banners held aloft down Deansgate?
Nah I'm just rehashing the arguments people through up for appointing our ex players who have no credentials for the job whatsoever.

The MoyesIn crowd have been clear that they mindlessly support the manager no matter what so cue uproar when people talk about replacing Giggs in a few games.....
----------------------------------------------------------------------
It's not mindlessly supporting a Manager it's about given a Manager an opportunity.
If Giggs gets the job on a permanent basis, then it's an absolute joke. Exactly what experience does he have?
Moyersy has been brutally cast aside the third quickest sacking in united history,
at least united can restore some dignity by not haggling over his compo, its 5 years times 6 million
Posters shouldnt be afraid to write I told you so articles. We do it all the time on the Chelsea board every year when our manager gets sacked. Make the other camp feel like sht and rub it in that you won the battle

nah, he didn't get CL, apparently that cuts the severance pay to just 1 season's worth - I.E signing Moyes cost £10m + the signings.

It's all one big game for the fans at Chelsea.
Someone should dig out the article (from the Arsenal board?) with a sweepstake on how long Moyes would last.

You should have asked that question about Moyes last May.
Has the clamour to reinstate Rene and Phelan started yet?
Let's face it.... Some of the Moyes In/Out crowd have both said some utterly daft things to fit their agenda.

Granted. I count myself in that as well. However, even today an article is written praising stretty, slm and they are still getting abused. Even though evidence shows they were right.
I wouldn't have done an 'I told you so' article because I'm a classy Australian guy but it's interesting to see some people thinking that celebrating a guy doing well (in this alternative universe) is apparently the same as celebrating in his demise.
Guess it comes down to what kind of person you are. Being positive I'll always try to see the good in a manager rather than spend all season hounding him out.
There will be no coaching appointments until the new manager is in place.
Never got what Phelan brought to the team other than Fergie's message boy on the touch line.

He has more under his belt than Ryan Giggs has, that's for sure.
As for the question about asking what experience Moyes had, I wasn't the one to appoint him. Sir Alex was, you know the most successful British Manager. Maybe he can give you a better answer than myself
I'm just waiting for Moyes to take over Arsenal, win the league in the first season and then see the reaction of Robb.

Don't think it's necessary. Let the new manager bring his own people with him
I've been moaning about tthe style of football we have been playing for a while. In Fergie's last season, it was everybit as dull as it's been this season. Probably moreso.
Saying that Moyes started this dull way of playing is wrong like a fair few other things that have been levelled at him. Did you hear Murphy (I think) stating that Moyes didn;t know his best team because he changed the team every single game? Errrrr like Fergie didn't the season before then?
We need to look forward now, not backwards

It is hard to quantify that they were "right"
Football is a game of very fine margins and in another instance, they might have been flat out wrong.
The fact that they showed zero support for their manager is far from "right" though, so they will naturally get some stick.
That said, I have less respect for certain posters that said they knew we were in for a hard time and supported Moyes, then jumped all over him the second we lost a match.
