Why would Newcastle flog their best players on the cheap?
The club who sold Andy Carroll for £35m...
Players going for cheap:
Ashley Young, Antonio Valencia, Tom Cleverley, Marouane Fellaini.
I've even heard that if you're willing to take all 4, Manchester United offer you an extra £20m as a gratitude and don't charge you a penny
Added to that I doubt you would get any of these for under £15m or even £20m bar Coloccini.
Southampton, Newcastle and Everton are not mugs, they don't give their players away easily...
Why would Newcastle flog their best players on the cheap?
-----------------------------
Two things:
1) It's a bit of fun. Relax.
2) You think Debuchy or Coloccini (28 and 32 respectively) would command more than £15m each? Behave...
Coloccini if he goes anywhere it will be home to Argentina.
Debuchy, no. They don't need to sell, and probably would get a bit of interest in him from elsewhere.
If you are doing 'bargin basement' shopping you don't go to these three teams.
I wouldn't mind a cheeky bid for loic remy. Wont go to qpr now and feel would excel at utd.
also maybe worth asking for ben arfa

Well join in and give some ideas of your own.
RR,
Remy and Ben Arfa are good outside shouts that i overlooked. Not sure Remy qualifies though as we don't need a striker. Ben Arfa would have made a good number 2 choice for me though.
Newcastle have a best player?
Bk.. Tbh mate i think striker options cost us even with moyes in charge. Not the title but better league position. Way we play remy over welbs and even chicha for me.
RB - Nathaniel Clyne. I think we watched him at Palace before he moved to Southampton. Might not be viable due to Saints not wanting to lose most of their team.
Bacary Sagna? Available on a free, but with obvious high wages. Personally wouldn't go for him unless he was going to be first choice, which would mean Rafael leaving. Would leave alone.
CB - Ron Vlaar? Not sure if he's at his level at Villa or if he's being brought down a level due to his team-mates. LVG knows about him so he might be an option.
Ryan Shawcross? Is he really capable of stepping up? Highly rated by many and probably under-rated by those influenced by the Stoke thing. Wasn't overly convinced when he played for England, but there isn't many good CB's around. Would we look to re-sign him?
RW/LW - Marko Arnautovic? Looks a real handful and always seems to be involved and creative when I've seen highlights, which isn't that often tbh, not when Stoke are always on last on MOTD.
Nathan Dyer? Always involved in the good stuff Swansea produce. I'd take him over Valencia and Young.
Why would we buy Ben Arfa when we already have the Portuguese version?
Darren..you could be right but i think ben arfa has been more mismanaged than nani imo. I think better utilised in a better team he would be potentially brilliant
Nah he's just not that good. Plus his best position is actually behind the striker, where we already have plenty of better players.
I wonder what will happen with Nani. Juve seem interested, I wonder whether Van Gaal can get the best out of him, though.
Sagna on a free would be a great shout. Can play CB too, which means we can keep using Smalling at right back! Win win.
I like Nani personally. Can't help but feel he's been handled poorly at times. As you say, DTKF, maybe LvG could bring out his better performances.
Is Colocinni really all that?
I've lost faith in Nani, to be honest.
I've always felt he's got a bit of a raw deal from some of our fans, and I don't think Fergie used him right, but he just doesn't look like he has it in him to resurrect his career at United.
I hope I'm wrong and Van Gaal can help him become the player we know he's capable of being. But I just have my doubts.
I've said time and again that I think Diame would be a beast for one of the top clubs. I'd love to see him come to UTD to bolster our CM options.
Shawcross is a good shout by Barf for CB.... Was great for our reserves and has proven himself against the biggest teams and has captain potential.
To further extend the discussion, how about internal promotion?
So Michael Keane (CB), Janko(RM) and Vermilj(RB).
Jesse Lingard might get his chance, this season.
Ideally suited for an inside wide role that I hope we adopt.
I personally think nani can come good if given an arm around the shoulder and given a run
we never the inside details but his cant care attitude seems to be not of his own making
Ji, yeah I'd like to see Lingard get a chance next season.
We'd need to sell Young, Nani or Kagawa for that to happen, though.
Our squad is already massive and we'll have less games to play without Europe.
RR, that may be. But he needs to stay fit as well.
