As I mentioned on the Carra thread, unfair on Mig. We had 4 players who should have done much better before the chance even comes.
However, nice to be picking holes in the goal we conceded when we bang in 4 at the other end.
BRING ON CITY!!!!
Some bloke mentioned us in relation to some bloke
Las Palmas president Miguel Angel Ramirez has said he is pessimistic about his club's chances of signing Paris Saint-Germain's Jese Rodriguez with Liverpool, AC Milan and Roma also reported to be keen.
Las Provincia newspaper reported Ramirez as saying: "Jese Rodriguez is a great footballer. He wants to come to Las Palmas, but he is owned by PSG and earns a salary that is of his level -- and that is very high.
"Liverpool, Milan and Roma want Jese and are ready to pay what he earns. We cannot afford that salary.

Mig was definitely poor on the goal.
He's got the same flaws he always had, the only thing putting him in the team is experience because Karius was under pressure.
Dropping Karius looks like the right decision short term, but long term we are still in limbo on the keeper.
It's not going to be Mignolet, it might be Karius, but when? And what if he comes back and has another shocker?
We will see in the summer I guess what the future holds for the keeper position.
Apparently we are in for the ox
Please don't be true unless we want to keep sturridge company in the treatment room

Liverpool will make a bid for Arsenal winger Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain when the transfer window opens, Sky sources understand.

Ox rumour sounds like his agent to me.
He's out of contract in 18 months and is obviously looking for a new one.
He has quality but is a frustrating and inconsistent player, and generally we don't do transfer deals with Arsenal.
Can't see us going for someone from arsenal after what's come out about us inserting the clause in Firmino's contract!
You've got something with the agent.
As I said on the other thread I would rather go for Zaha. Klopp could make Zaha into a top player to fulfil his potential.
He could possibly but only if Zaha wants it enough.
That would be my issue with Zaha. Has he got the right attitude to be the best he can be, or does he just want the bling?
The fact he is switching to Ivory Coast because he thinks he should be in the England squad is a worrying sign. He'd been poor for years before this season when he has upped his game considerably.

He's been named in the Ivory Coast squad so doesn't benefit us now!
You don't sign a player for a few weeks.
You sign him for years.
Klopp has already said we won't be signing anyone just to cover for a month.
Zaha is never going to be a player for a top club in my opinion. He's been better this season but that's not that difficult considering he's been utter tripe in previous. People talk about potential but he's not getting any younger, 25 next year and most attacking players are reaching their peak by then.
Still frustrating and for all the improvement he still only has three league goals to his name this season, only one more than Lovren.
Might be wrong but there has to be better value out there than Zaha. Ox is better but not particularly a fan of him either.
There are certainly better wingers out there than Zaha and Chamberlain who would consider a move to us. The only thing either really have going for them is that they are "home grown" for Premier League & Champions League quotas. Still, it doesn't seem like a Klopp thing to sign a player for the sake of filling a quota - he seems to prefer dipping into the u23s when necessary.

I think Ox has a high ceiling, but his lack of improvement in the years at Arsenal would be a concern.
He's looked a bit better this season and has better stats. Is that just because he wants a new contract though?
I don't believe for a minute we actually want to sign him though so it's all moot.
