The majority of African nations FA are corrupt. They need this tournament every 2 years to keep the money flowing.

For once, I agree with youIt's all well and good certain posters getting all righteous about the bad white european bullies, but the fact is, corruption is at the heart of nearly every policy and decision made in most African countries.

The discussion at the time was about AFCOM but yeah every FA including ours is corrupt.

Harder to attract sponsors and TV deals for AFCOM so they get less money than the Euros which is why they want it every 2 years.

When we bought the two Africans Mane & Matip we were aware of the rules. To use it as an excuse is pretty pathetic.

I could understand it being this time of year way up until the 1990's but now most African national teams have people who play in Europe I think it'd be better for them if the tournament was moved otherwise you're going to get loads more players like Matip swerving it.
