We should put in a fake bid for Lemar, just to give us some excitement for today.

On avg £31.86m a year/season net is remarkable given our topsy turvy times in that period and where we're at with regards to progress under Klopp.

Provided we make 4th this season.

And that's only on the field stuff.

Aubameyang confirmed at Arsenal

Bit surprised he’s gone there. Probably his last chance of a big move and he chooses the club that are almost certainly out of the CL, and possibly next seasons EL too.

Mesut Ozil has ended months of speculation over his future by signing a new three-and-a-half-year contract to remain at Arsenal until the summer of 2021.

The 29-year-old playmaker becomes the highest-paid player in the club’s history - earning around £350,000 per week before tax - in a deal completed this morning.

£350k per week for that inconsistent lazy person from Germany

Firmino > Auba
Salah > Mikhi

I would rather have our attack
I would rather have our midfield
& somehow our defence is better than theirs

Not worried about them at all.

Decent day for Arsenal fans it must be said, about time they had some joy.

I think we are playing with fire going into the rest of the season two attackers down, an injury to Firmino or Salah and we look very weak all of a sudden.

An injury to Aubameyang, Mkhitaryan or Ozil and Arsenal look weak as well.

Injury to Sane sent City into panic mode...what has happened to the Mahrez tranny anyway?

Injury to Sanchez, Pogba or Martial and Utd look weak.

It happens to everyone.

Injury to Hazard and Chelsea lose all of the little creativity they have atm.

What if everyone does though?

But we are the only team going into the remainder of the season weaker, considering we are the most vulnerable of the teams in the top 4 it just seems risky to me but I trust in Klopp.

We may be weaker but that doesn't mean we're weaker than our rivals.

Does our position of 4th and out of cups early not suggest we are weaker than United/Chelsea

There's hardly a massive difference. We're level on points with Chelsea as it stands, three behind United, they're still the FA Cup and we're all still in the CL.

Too much is being made of the FA Cup exit...Imo I think Klopp shot himself in the foot playing the same side that played against Swansea.

It's a chance at silverware yes. Klopp needs to win trophies as well but we've played Everton & West Brom.

Utd have played Yeovil & Derby?

Chelsea played Norwich and Newcastle...and barely made it past Norwich.
