No, he didn't. He played well in the odd game, more often than not he was poor, regardless of his position. Take insert's comments with a pinch of salt regarding to Marjorie, he has some strange crush.

I'm dissapointed he's leaving as I fear for his future here, it's not often players leave on loan from parent club and come back to make an impact. At least we should get a good loan fee.

Maybe but we don't know how they're training. Maybe Markovic wanted to go?

Who knows but I won't lose any sleep about it. His best moment was hitting a bar with a ridiculous volley and his most memorable was poking someone in the eye.

Spurs have signed Son from Leverkusen for what's being reported as £22m and they've already got it down to £15m!

Son is potentially a good signing for Spurs.

Has lots of ability and crucially has end product to back it up.

Lots of good players from that part of the world haven't set the world alight in England though, so will be interesting to see how he how he does.

He's no better than what they have at the moment IMO, and £22m is significantly overpriced.

Son would nail down either wide positions in our team imo.

Watford are in for Fabio Borini, say TalkSport.

Decent group, comfortable the best team. Rubin Kazan were possibly the worst team in Pot 1 but it's a long journey.

Very good draw for us, trip to Russia but Rubin one of the weakest top seeds.

Azerbaijan always sounds good in a Scouse accent. I think that's a good group for us. Hopefully Rodgers will use it to play some of the fringe and u21 players.

The only issue for me is whether he is suited to the PL, but you can say the same about any foreign player new to the league.

Just personal opinion I guess, I think he will struggle with the physicality here in the same way Lamela has. If he adapts he will get goals.

Same story with Firmino but I think he will do better.

Send the kids/reserves away to Rubin, it's over 3000 miles away.
