Takumi Minamino becomes the first player since Vladimir Smicer in 2000-01 to score for the club in 3 successive League Cup games
I've always thought Mina's had something about him to be fair when others have already written him off.
His all round game is far from convincing and he's physically weak but he does have a knack for popping up in goalscoring positions and is a pretty good finisher. We'll need that in January.
Minamino is such a funny dude, I hope he makes it but he was just not good for large parts of this game chalk it down to never playing I guess, and what a clutch goal in the end
That was a big test for our forward line without Mo and Mane in Jan. It did the job 2nd half.
Three really good finishes tonight. Impressed with Minamino as that wasn't the easiest chance.
Lovely finish from Ox too and Jota did what Jota does, finish brilliantly!
But Maddison's goal was an absolute blinder.
